   Music lofted through the air like the summer's breeze. Delicately folding clothing was Elliott Watkins, attempting to pack as much as would fit into his suitcase. He'd been preparing this trip ever since they first met. His friends teased him for this, but he persisted in their platonic relationship. She was his friend only, despite the constant prodding to further their relationship.
   Growing up with three sisters, and a large population of female relatives, he found it to be nothing more than platonic when they embraced, or when they lingered a second longer than would be appropriate. Nothing in his mind argued against the fact of her simplistic beauty, eloquently mapped out on her golden skin, and plain hair.
   There was nothing especially remarkable about this friend. Nothing in at all would mark her out from the crowds. Elliott, however,  felt as though he would invariably feel her presence, as she would wave and smile, cracking a joke that shouldn't be funny.
   That same simplistic yet all encompassing beauty was met with him face to face when he landed in the US.
   Elliott paced, heart pounding in his chest, past his gate. He managed to find his belongings without issue, and stepped into the lobby-like area. Full of weary faces, he found the one he was searching for. She was a breath of fresh air, shining when compared to the dull faces of travelers that surrounded her.
   His pulse quickened as she strode toward him, expression mixed with anxiety and joy.
"I've missed you." She pressed her face into his chest, arms wrapped delicately around him. He hesitated before draping his arms over her.
"I've missed you too, Shay." He partially laughed at their awkward display of affection, pulling apart with a smile.
"How long are you staying again?" She asked.
"Not very long unfortunately," he paused ", Ive got to go home in time for halloween."
"Ah, right." She paused, "Well, lets make the most of our time then."
