i was 13 and archie was 12 tomorrow was his 13 birthday, and he was sleeping over. my dad had left to go get burgers from the obvious pop's, no one else was home.

so we built a fort. the small space looked huge to us. either way it was ours and we made it. and warm, very warm that's important.

we had my laptop i had gotten  for my birthday a week ago. we're were watching some teen drama Betty had recommended. it seemed like a good book. the end credits rolled and i could hear my dad pull up but he was on the phone so he'd take a while. that was when archie turned to face me. his eyes were gorgeous like always.

what i wasn't expecting was what happened next. those perfect eyes closed and he leaned in...
