Author's Note: So this is my first book on Wattpad and I like writing short romance stories, so I thought, why not? I like KOTLC and read a lot of fan fics about it so if you know one you think I'd like, comment it and I'll probably find some time to read it. But back to the book I'm writing, if it's underlined, it means it's a change of POV so don't think I just messed up when formatting. If something is bolded, it's a note to myself to change something there. Of course if it's bolded and underlined, it an author's note like this. If it's italicized that means it's someone's thoughts, so like if it said:

Wait, what did she just say? She kissed Fletcher?

Then whoever's POV it's in, that is what they are thinking, and like in the example above, if anything in a thought is bolded and italicized, that means I'm emphasizing that specific word or phrase. Welp I guess that's all and I should just let you read the first chapter, so here it is:

FINN

Nobody seems to remember Faey and I not being together, at the doctor, at school, at home, even when we are out getting ice cream and we suddenly run into someone we know, we always seem to be together. But it's hard not knowing how far back your friendship goes, but for us, we know.

I met Faye a week after I was born, our mothers met at a conference for work and learned that we were neighbors. We practically fell for each other the day we met. 

Now everyone just knows us as "Finn and Faey," no one can even picture us apart. But for you to understand why we are together, we have to start from the very beginning.

My mom and dad split up after my dad found out my mom was pregnant with me, he just didn't think he could take care of me, so he left. My mom lost her job as a programmer, while she was on family leave, to someone with more experience. We moved to a new city after I was born and she soon found a new job working as teacher at the private school near our house. She met our neighbor at a conference with the school board, our neighbor just had a baby girl, who she named Faey, meaning fairy. My mom and Faey's mom became friends instantly, so we were forced to hangout together everyday after daycare.

Faey didn't like me much to start with, but within our first month of friendship, we became like siblings. We knew everything about each other, even though we couldn't talk yet.

We just hung out at daycare and played together when we got home. It went on like this for years, until we were toddlers of course.

But that's a whole different story for tomorrow, and we'll there you have it, how Finn and Faey met. I hope you liked my first story, but I have school so I probably won't be updating but like once or twice a week, sorry! Can't wait for you guys to read the whole thing, bye!
