Kidnapped Lover

Prologue

There once was a world that had many kingdoms that lived with many secrets. One nation especially had a secret that would one day change the faith of the kingdoms future. The land is known as the peaceful kingdom of Aucherigalla and is located in the farthest region north, where the domain surrounded by ice. Aucherigalla royalty line is known to have the power to mold the element to help the kingdom survive in the harshest temperatures below the average temperature for any human being. The king and Queen of Aucherigalla are known for being the most knowledgeable and kind rulers for the Aurchergallans. Queen Gracelyn of Aucherigalla wants children, as this was one of the significant duties that she is to fill before her 25th birthday. Now King Lukas knew that his wife Queen Gracelyn needed and wanted to have children, before her 25th birthday as any children born after she turned 25 would be placed with a curse put on them. Luck was not on their side as the Queen was getting closer and closer to becoming 25. She was worrying that they would never have children.

Queen Gracelyn could not take it any longer, she was growing desperate and depressed with each passing day. Then one day, she snuck off to a witches hut nearby the forbidden wastelands of the West. The wind blows with urgency around Gracelyn as she walks up the broken step to the creaky door of Antha Bloodworth hut. Gracelyn knocked on the door with a skull running up and down the front of the door. The door swings open gently, and there in the doorway stood Antha Bloodworth, the Evil witch know in the North Aucherigalla kingdom. Antha Bloodworth knew why the Queen was here as she had a plan for this to happen. Antha Bloodworth smiles and asks Gracelyn to come in a join her for tea and cookies.

As Gracelyn moves into the hut, she was about to ask her question when suddenly Antha Bloodworth says, Child I already know what you have come for and the answer is yes I can help you. There is one teeny-tiny thing you must do for me in return. Gracelyn, without any thought about it at all, says in return, I will do anything you ask if you can just get me pregnant with children as I am already 24-years-old, and I am almost out of time. With that said, Antha Bloodworth returns with a drink special made by her to get the Queen pregnant before the week is over, but the child will not be born until after her 25th birthday. Antha Bloodworth proceeds to tell her what is to happen if she drinks this Queen Gracelyn of Aucherigalla the potion you will drink will give you what you desire but know this that the price is one not many before you were willing to pay for. Are you still willing to drink the potion? Gracelyn nods an grabs the potion drinks with a grimace because of the foul smell and taste that you can imagine. Antha Bloodworth then processes to tell the Queen of the term she agrees to without thinking it through.

Child, here is what I want from you now that you have drunk the potion. If you have a girl, I will come and get her on her 16th birthday until her true love comes to get her from me. If you have a boy, the same thing will happen. If you have twins, one boy and one girl, they will both need to find their true love before they turn sixteen, or else their fate will be set for them to die at my hand. And the kingdom of Aucherigalla will fall under the deaths of your decisions. Antha Bloodworth cackle loudly and Queen Gracelyn face drains of blood and look about to faint at her horrible decision. Gracelyn leaves the witch hut dreading now of the child she will conceive because of their fate that she has given them.

As night falls, King Lukas walks in to give his wife and Queen what he hopes is a night to remember. Lukas walks in the library to find his lover reading or what looks to be more along the line of daydreaming. He sneaks his way over to her and frightens her as she has not heard him come in. She was stuck on the prophecy of her child to be and wonder what her dear husband would think about what she has done. She never got to tell him that night as he swept her off her feet to a night that made her forget everything the proper thing and especially the wrong things.

As time went on, Queen Gracelyn found out that she was pregnant, and she could not wait to tell her husband, King Lukas, the news. She also forgot about her childs curse until one day on her 25th birthday that she knew about the bane of her unborn child because her midwife Cassia Lovelace told that she was past her time for the Queen of Aucherigalla curse of her children. This curse is not known by many of the citizens of Aucherigalla, as it was more like a superstition made-up by one of the very first queens. The only way that it is told is by the royal midwives who are in charge of remembering the curse and preventing future princes and princesses from falling into the trap that their mother asset upon them. The evil is said that if the Queen of Aucherigalla does not produce an heir to the kingdom of Aucherigalla before her 25th birthday, the Queens curse will affect the childs fate. The fate is one, not even the midwives know as none can remember the outcome of any child that was born after the mother turns 25.

Queen Gracelyn now worries about her childs fate, now that not just one but two curses are now a part of their life to live out as soon as they come into the world. More than a month later, Queen Gracelyn and King Lukas now wondering about two completely different things. King Lukas having no real idea of what his Queen has put on to his future heir of the kingdom, only thinks about what he will be naming their bundle of joy. Queen Gracelyn, on the other hand, worries day and night about what her decisions have caused her baby. All the worry for both of the Queen and king makes the Queen Gracelyn go into early labor. As the midwife, Cassia is helped the Queen through the terrible childbirth, not just one baby as she had hoped but two babies. The announcement that King Lukas made that day made it all the way throughout the Kingdom of Aucherigalla and into the forbidden wastelands of the West. Where Antha Bloodworth heard that Prince Alexander Lukas of Aucherigalla and Princess Lillian Jay of Aucherigalla was born.
