Blood-stained hands I shove underwater
I must try to get you out from underneath my fingernails and then I will try to get you out of my head.
I know it's going to be hard to forget the feeling of you, clawing into my skin
and clutching my wrists until they turned purple.
Isn't it obvious that I wanted you to hurt me -
you shone through like sun rays directly to my heart, and you knew it was there
so why didn't you take it?
Why didn't you take your hands and dig around inside of my chest?
Why did I feel like something was missing?
Because I was thunder and you were lightning,
you electrified me but now I'm missing in the cloudiness of my own thoughts
and sometimes, I see your face in the fog.
