I can say that the following quote is pretty much what happens in our society at this moment and I totally agree with it : "some people, for the sake of getting a living, forget to live". The american essayist Margaret Fuller pointed out this issue, as being aware of the situation that we live in: getting a successful job is more important than having note of what life is really about.I do think people can get easily caught with their work and forget to do other things that they enjoy, such as keeping the relationships with the ones they love, or doing sports, listening to their favorite song, reading a book, playing games, traveling the world, watching the sky, the stars, simply getting to see around them. As you can see at most people this days is the feel that they only exist not live. They lean towards getting a good job and forget to enjoy life at it's simple roots.
Nowadays people tend to exaggerate with their jobs.It seems like they only know how to work and they are absorbed by that. I don't really get the idea of wanting a successful job, and only after you achieved tbat you can focus on other stuff and have fun. You can easily have a successful job, have fun and also have a great family life, because one does not exclude the other. An ideal life would be the one where you enjoy your job life and having a personal life as well. Be fully present in the moment no matter what you are doing, because it will never come back. And you'll eventually wake up one day and see that you haven't done much but had a career that is over and only that. Nothing lasts forever, you only live once, so live your life not any other's life, take chances and never regret. Never be late to do what you want to do, right now. Because at a one point of someday everything you did would be exactly what you will be. Who are you living for? Put your hand on your heart and ask if you are only happy with existing and not living...and if a job can bring you so much joy that there is no need for anything else.
