Just a day after Caroline's failed Choosing the King Aeron Ocxa is suddenly murdered. All hands point to the Princess and her maid. But the problem is Caroline doesn't know if she truly is innocent after all with a family like her's in a place where they live things can get a bit hazy. Hopefully they can execute the murderer before they fully take over from the shadows. After all the royal family must keep its throne till the very end or else chaos would erupt among the citizens.

Juliana wished she wasn't the way she was, she wished that she could live with her real family. If they hadn't thrown her away, but as The King had decreed a Lord's family could only have one child, and they chose her brother instead of Juliana. But it's too ironic that she ended up in the palace, where the Duke's son would want to rule someday. And that she captured the heart of the one the Duke's son would have to if he were to be king.
