I've always been a pretty closed off person. I don't really talk to anyone because of my social anxiety, so i'm pretty good at observing people since that's all i can do since i can't engage in a conversation without being on the verge of a panic attack.

It was like any other school day, I wandered around school for a bit before homeroom, looking at all the posters on the walls advertising different school events. After that, I walked up the stairs to my homeroom where I sketched some random stuff until the bell rang.
The bell finally rang and the teacher announced that she was rearranging seats. Not that I cared, since I didn't really talk to anyone. After a few grunts and moans, everyone was placed in different seats. I was seating next to this girl named Billie. She had long, blonde curly hair, light blue eyes, and a million freckles sprinkled on her face. Once class started she tapped my shoulder and my heart instantly racing.
"Could I borrow a pencil?" She asked. Phew. I thought, she wasn't trying to start a conversation. I nodded and handed her a spare pencil.
"Thanks," she smiled. "My names Billie, what's yours?" Shit, I'm already having enough troubling just talking to a person, but a pretty girl? I'm screwed this is the end goodbye world.
After a few awkward seconds of me staring I finally answered, "I'm Luna."
"Nice name," she replied.
"Thanks, you're cool too— I mean! You're name is cool too,"
Jesus christ Im going to die. I started fidgeting with my hands nervously trying not to breakdown.
"Are you ok? You look a little bit on edge," She concerned.
"I-Im fine, I just get anxious easily..." I trailed off.
"I recognize those fidgets, don't worry, I'm not judging you because of your little stutter!" She reaffirmed. How the fu- I just sat there for a second blinking, but my heart seemed to slow it's racing. I didn't really know what to say.
"Wanna sit with me at lunch?" She broke the silence.
"sure."

In the classes after that and before lunch all I could think about was Billies pretty blue eyes and how nice she was. Then came lunch time and I was shaking the entire walk to the cafeteria. I went through the door and Billie instantly spotted me and started waving from the table she was at. Thank god she wasn't sitting with anyone else, though there was a group of girls a couple seats down from her, but they didn't seem to be talking with Billie. I walked over to the table and sat down on the other side of her.
"I got you some cookies since there were fresh out of the oven," She handed me a plastic bag of three cookies.
"Oh, thanks."
"You're hands are so shaky!" Billie exclaimed and held my hands. I immediately felt heat rush to my face and my heart starting pounding, but it wasn't from my anxiety this time. After a bit, my heart rate calmed and the whole world seemed to disappear except for Billie. She let go of my hands and started talking, but it was like I couldn't hear her.
"Luna? You there?"
I started coughing a bit and excused my self for a moment because it felt like I was about to throw up. I quickly walked into the girls bathroom and rushed into a stall. I kept coughing, and then flower petals started to come up. What the hell is this? My throat ached after each petal and then there was a little bit of blood.
After about five minutes, the petals stopped and I returned to the cafeteria.
"You good?" Billie asked.
"Yeah, I just felt a little sick for a second."
