This wasn't a typical day for Leta Ray. She was moving to New York because her mother had gotten a higher paying job there. She was a scientist working for Tony Stark, though, she wouldn't tell Leta. It would put her in too much danger. So, she decided to keep it from her and say she was working late shifts at the lab. One funny thing is that her Mom's name is Toni spelt with an 'I' instead of a 'Y'.
Anyway, right now Leta was so lost in thought. Her mind traveled from 'when would my mom come home?' all the way to 'I wonder how many M&M's I can fit in my mouth?'.
She didn't even know how she could get lost in thought when she was with one of her friends who was the biggest chatter box. That friends name was Ella Harrison.
Ella and Leta were about to cross a street while getting out of school when the unexpected happened. "Leta!"
Leta was snapped back to reality and she looked to her right. Loud honking was heard. Leta's eyes widened when she realised that she had walked into oncoming traffic and was about to be hit by a semi truck.
Leta was frozen in place. It's like time slowed down, until her feet were no longer on the floor. The girl yelped and looked around when she noticed someone had saved her. Spiderman did.
He carefully landed on a roof that was a couple blocks away from where the accident happened. Leta slowly let go of him. Her small frame was shaking 8n fear.
"Miss? Are you ok?"
