Valery woke to the sound of beeping from her alarm clock. She sat up and hit the dismiss button rather than the snooze, she then climbed out of bed and got dressed. She came out of her room still tired, and walked to the bathroom, following her normal morning routine. But when she went to look at herself in the mirror she was aghast to find her reflection not there. just to make sure she wasn't losing her mind, she reached forward and touched her fingers against the glass. Without warning, a smoky hand pulled her into the mirror, breaking the glass, and causing the sensation of falling from a tremendous height.
Valery woke up, assuming she had passed out on the ground, but what she couldn't assume was where she was, how she got there, and what had happened to her and why. And then, it clicked in her head, THE MIRROR, it had to have been the mirror there's no other way! But that's impossible, there's NO WAY a mirror can just make you travel through to a whole different dimension, at least not in the world where she comes from.
