Lumine heard a slight knocking come from the door, he looked over to see Aiden leaning on the side of the door looking at Lumine with concern "Hanahaki disease huh?" He said quietly looking away with a sad look "yeah..." Lumine said, "so..? Who's the lucky girl?" He asked, Lumine didn't respond to him after a few seconds a cheeky grin formed on his face "A guy?" He teased expecting to be denied immediately but caught on when Lumine didn't say anything but look away "Holy shit..." he said shocked at first but then chuckled "Holy shit!" He said, Lumine glared at him "Aiden this isn't really the best time." Lumine said upset, he usually would be afraid to talk back to Aiden but he wasn't in a good state (obviously) "Shit you're right.. sorry Lumine, I was just hyped up by finding out one of my precious son's fell in love," he smiled innocently "Anyways.. what are we gonna do about... this?" He asked his tone turning serious immediately "I.. don't know" Lumine said and looked down "well surgery is always a option?" He said "No!" Lumine snapped but looked back down immediately in shame "I.. don't want to rid myself of these feelings and besides I could never afford the surgery anyways," he said "I could pay," Aiden stated "No way, I'm not letting you waste money cause I got caught up in the feels," Lumine said, "well I can't just let you die Lumine.." he said "listen.. I'll figure it out Aiden.. okay?" He said his eyes basically pleading Aiden to drop the subject, Aiden sighed "Alright.. but if you are in a state of life or death you're going to get that surgery," he said sharply, "Alright.." Lumine replied awkwardly "so who's the person you like..?" Aiden's eyes sparkled with curiosity, Lumine debated whether it'd be okay to tell him that he had fell head over heels in love with his son Kody who is currently dating Calla, Lumine decided it'd probably just makes things awkward and decided to not tell him yet, Lumine looked up at him "I'm.. not too comfortable with telling anyone yet.." he said sadly, Aiden nodded after a few seconds "alright," he smiled "thanks aiden" Lumine said with a sad smile "I'm gonna head back to my room now.. see ya" he said and walked off,
he quickly got to his room and slammed the door quite hard, he winced and prayed he didn't wake anyone up at the loud noise, Lumine lay down to take some time to think over everything that happened, he still felt guilty for shouting at Kody but every time he saw his perfect face the urge to throw up petals increased and he didn't want Kody to see him in such a pitiful state, well.. I guess I'll apologize tomorrow.. I hope he isn't too mad with me though, Lumine fell into a blissful slumber thinking of how much fun he and Kody would have tomorrow, it was such a shame that this boy had yet to know this may be the last day they would ever be able to have fun as friends.
