About the Author

Anne Patz obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Centro Escolar University in Mendiola Manila in 2003.

In 2006 she decided to take up Master of Arts in Education major in Guidance and Counseling at Tarlac State University. The following year 2007 she was accepted as Guidance Counselor and a Subject Area Instructor (Foreign language: Nihongo 1 and Physical Education: Martial Arts) at Mary Our Help Technical and Vocational School for Women in Mabiga, Mabalacat, Pampanga.

And on 2008 she entered into a military life as an enlisted women and has been in the Philippine Army for more than a decade. Her first unit assignment was at Security and Escort Battalion, Headquarters and Headquarters Service Battalion at Headquarters, Philippine Army. Then on 2010 she was re-assigned at 72nd Infantry (Gabay) Battalion, 10th Infantry (Agila) Division in Sitio Mahayahay, Tuboran, Mawab, Compostela Valley Province in Eastern Mindanao were in she obtained her Basic Journalism Course at Ateneo de Davao University in 2012. And while she was assigned at the battalion she volunteered as Alternative Learning System (ALS) coordinator and teacher to the indigenous children of ComVal Province as part of Civilian Military Operation (CMO) activities of the Philippine Army.

At present she was assigned at the Office of Governance and Strategy Management, Training and Doctrine Command Philippine Army, as Performance Monitoring and Evaluation System Desk NCO and Scorecard Implementation Desk NCO. The office that manages the implementation of the Army Transformation Roadmap.
