"So that's how you get 58 × 77" The teacher finished. Too bad I wasen't paying attention. I was drawing in my sketch book like always and my teacher got my attention.
"Astrid!!" She snaps. I look up at her quick.
"Yes, Miss.Maria?" I asked, trying not to sound as mean as I did.
My teacher sighed and shook her head "Pay attention, the work you didn't do in class today will be extra homework"
The class 'Ooo'ed as I rolled my eyes a bit and nodded "Will do, Miss." I put my sketch book away and wait for school to end.
~Time skip brought to you by a lazy ho~
The bell rang and I ran out of the school as fast as I could. Today I was seeing the gang for he first time in a year! I get to see them in the summer time but due to the things that happend last year.. I uh, couldn't see my brother or his friends. While I was running I got lost in my thoughts that I bumped into a guy. And to my luck, it was the rich kid, Joey. He was mean to everyone, well, so were all the rich kids, but he was the 'leader' of the as- ahem, jerkholes. He turned around and showed his light blue eyes that were mean and cold. His stare was like stabing me in he soul. Man was he scary. He pushed me down, making his blond hair sway a bit as I gulped in nervouseness and breathed out determination.
"Watch where you're going dirt bag" Said Joey, as his small group of three guys laughed along with him. I rolled my eyes and got up starting to walk away, till somebody took me by the shoulder and threw me down again.
"Hey, we ain't done with you yet" One said
"Yeah" another one chuckled "To bad your shithead of a brother ain't here to save you"
My blood boiled and my eyes were like fire. Talk about me all you want, but not my brother. I punched the guy square in the face and kicked him where the sun don't shine, and he went down faster then you could say 'Star'.
I got up and ran as fast as I could. I heard two footsteps come behind me and I ran faster. Guess them 5 years of track really worked out. I got to my house and saw that the guys were gone, for now. I opend the door as my eyes lit up. There they stood, my brother and the gang. The house fell silent as the group of 7 guys, not including my brother, were trying to take in who they were looking at. I was breathing heavaly and my brother ran to me and hugged me.
"Astrid-!" He said with full out joy, spinning me around like he always did. Soon the hug was filled with more people who were cheering because they saw me again. Man, I didn't know they missed me this much.
"Ok ok guys I can't breathe-!" I laughed
Soon they let go and a big smiled was plasted on my face. "I didn't think ya'll would miss me that much!" I grinned
"The girl of the gang? How could we not miss you?!" Tyler said. He was 16, like my brother, and had black hair that looked like somebody dumped oil on his head. He had dark blue eyes, almost grey, and always had his happy personality. He was never sad and if he was, he hid it well. He always put other people first, if they had something wrong going on he would be there for them. He's really everybodys best friend, and we all had a soft spot for him.
"Yeah!" Everyone agreed with him. I looked at them and I could literally almost cry
"I missed you guys so much!" I laughed and blinked away some tears of joy.
"Awe-" My brother, Josh, said. He hugged me and I hugged him back, smiling huge. My brother was always there for me. He and I have similer looks, exept for hair and eye color. I had my dads boring grey eyes and my moms blond hair, while my brother had dark brown and greenish eyes with my dads dark brown hair. My brother was tough and he would win any fight, if he was pissed off enough. He couldn't detect if someone was hurt or not emotionally, which lead to some of his many break ups. In fact, I think he's obliviouse to most peoples feelings- not in a rude way, he just thinks about the future more then in the now, y'know?
"We missed you more!" Said Marty, coming in to hug us as well. Now he's different, he only thinks about the now. He dosen't think about the future and he forgets about the past he wants to forget. Sure, it sounds pretty reckless, and it is, he's even gone to jail a few times because of it, but I didn't mind. He was the one to always make us laugh. He loves the gang and we love him. He has light brown hair and hazel purplish eyes, along with his slightly tanned skin, from always being outside.
They all went in for a group hug again and we all started to catch up with eachother, about what happend and all that. Kyle, 17 years old, seemed sader then normal. Now he.. he makes it hard to let go. He's always thinking about the past, mostly the bad things, he makes situations emotinal at times, but I didn't think this was gonna be one of the times, boy was I wrong.
"Hey Kyle, whats up man? You seem a little down.." I said, as the others turned there attention on him. Then he snapped.
"Are we just suppost to forget what happend?? The fact that you just disapeard, then show up out of nowhere?? We fucking missed you! You had us all worried! We all got sad and scared for you.. If nobody else is going to ask the question floating around the room, then I will. Where did you go?? Why did you leave-??.."
I knew this would come up sooner or later. Everyone looked at me and I sighed. "I.."
No Astrid, they said if you told anyone, then there all as good as dead. You can't tell them.
"Well..?" Asked Marty. I held back tears at the thought of them all being dead.
"Well nothin'." I said sternly. They all looked at me confused. "I can't tell ya'll, ok? If I do, they'll kill you. All of you, even me."
"Who will..?" Asked Josh.
"What did I just say?" I asked, geting a bit sassy. "I said I can't tell ya'll. Can we just leave it alone?? I haven't seen ya'll in a fucking year and I don't want to get in a fight with my friends already. Just leave it be. Please."
They all nodded, but Kyle. Kyle stood up and went out on the porch, proubly to smoke a cigarette. I sighed again and looked at Jax. Jax was my age and he still would be going to school, if not for those dumb bullys. He's quiet and always has a note book with him. He got the drawing hobby from me, he just does it more aka all the time. I don't even know how he can see through his long hair that goes to his chin. His hair is a redish brown (more brown) and his eyes are beautiful black. A lot of people don't know why I find black eyes so beautiful, but I do. It's easyer to get lost in them. Like, a dark forest or somthing. Yeah yeah I know i'm weird. Jax is a deep kid. He gets real emotinal also, but he dosen't know when he does. Poor kid has been through so much. You feel bad for him, y'know? He caught me looking at him and when he did he looked down back to his sketch. I smiled and walked over to him and sat down next to him.
"How have you been..?" I asked. He looked at me for a little, then back down to his sketch. Me and him wern't really close, and you'd think we were because were the same age, but nah. He's not real close to anyone, really. I sigh and poked his cheak.
"Earth to Jax, do you copy? Astrid wan't to know how you're doin'." I chuckled and saw him smile a bit.
"I've been fine, I guess. Been really bored without you." He said quietly. I nodded slightly.
"Well i'm here now, so you won't be as bored." I grinned. He smiled and nodded a bit.
"Good" he smiled, as did I.
I just really hope things will be just like they were before I left..
