The young Stark walked to school, and to the people who didn't know her, with no emotion. But inside, deep inside, her heart had shattered into a million little pieces. The night before had her falling apart.

After taking some time to breath, she started walking to Peter's apartment in Queens. The tower had been moved into Queens after the Accords. Headphones plugged in, blasting Linkin Park's song "Papercut", she walked down the street with the ocean of people.

The walk had become normal for Kaitlynn, and she even knew many of the vendors who sold their goods on the way to Peter's apartment. She made sure to stop by Julio's food stand. Buying her usual churro (those things are amazing) and an iced tea, she continued on her walk to her boyfriend's home.

Little did she know what waited for her at his apartment.

Taking out her headphones, she knocked on his door, sudden anxiety rushed through her as she waited Peter to answer the door. Forcing herself to breath, it wasn't long until Peter answered the door.

Immediately she knew something was wrong. He didn't have a cheery smile like he usually did. He looked serious, and it was scary.

"May I come in?"

His answer was instantaneous, "Yeah, sure."

As she went through the door, she was scared to tell him of her... condition. But she knew it was right. It may hurt him, but at least he would know.

"Peter, I need to tell you something." Peter knew that she was serious. And it scared, no terrified him.

"I have to tell you something too."

"You go first pete."

"I don't love you anymore. I'm sorry, I can't do this anymore." These words tore Kaitlynn Stark's heart apart. The unbreakable, had finally broken. The warm, became cold. The happy, became sad.

The light, became dark.

"Can I at least say goodbye to May?"

"Yeah.."

I went to May's room, and looked at me with eyes full of sympathy.

A look I hadn't seen in years.

"Goodbye May, I'll miss you."

"Goodbye Kit-Kat, I'll miss you too. I'm sorry."

"It's ok May, its not your fault."

They embraced each other in a hug, and as Kaitlynn left the apartment, silent tears rushed down her face. She walked back to Avengers Tower, alone.

As Kaitlynn got to her locker, she tried to put in her combination to open her locker.

Tried.

Someone had glued the lock. She pulled, harder, harder, and harder until it opened. This wasn't a rare. Flash did this to her a lot.

At school her name was Kaitlynn Black, so no one knew her father was Tony Stark. But it didn't matter because she was an outcast, a loner. And with Peter gone, she had no one that cared.

Feeling out of breath, she reminded herself of the disease taking over her body.

That she didn't have long to live.

She walked to her first class, hoping Flash wouldn't see her. But, that never happens.

"Hey, bitch! Where's you boyfriend, Penis!? Oh that's right, cause even he doesn't have standards low enough to actually love you!" Usually this didn't get her that much. But today, with recent events, got her.

It wasn't long before he started to beat her. But this was worse then before. He dragged her outside. He was gonna kill her.

But she didn't care. In her mind, he was doing her a favor.

Every punch, every kick. Every choke, brought her closer to where she wanted to be.

Dead.

"Hey! Stop!" Principal Morita yelled to Flash. She looked away, she couldn't bear to see anyone, and Mr. Morita started yelling at Flash.

"Flash! Office now! I'll be there in a little bit."

"Yes, Mr. Morita."

Mr. Morita helped Kaitlynn up, and her thanked him, but before she could leave he grabbed my arm (gently).

"No you need to go to the nurse, and we need to call your parents."

He directed her to the nurse's office, where the nurse patched her up, and she sat outside his office as he (most likely) gave Flash a 2 week suspension.

"Ms. Black. My office please."

She walked in and he started to ask her questions.

"How long has Mr. Thompson been bullying you? Has he ever gone this far before?"

"Since I started here, but he didn't do it as much when I started dating Peter Parker, but he must have heard of put break up because this is the first time he bullied me to this extent."

"Who would you like us to call?"

She didn't know how calling Tony would work, and Pepper shouldn't have to deal with this. So she came to the conclusion of Steve Rogers, her uncle.

"You can call my uncle Steve his number is *** *** ****.

He called Rogers, unaware of the fact he was talking to an Avenger. (Lets say they didnt move the Avengers upstate in the tower and Steve is not a war criminal anymore).

Steve knew that Kaitlynn and Tony didn't have a bond, so he knew that even if he told Tony he wouldn't care.

But he was pissed his niece was getting bullied. Flash was gonna pay, but first he had to get Kaitlynn, he needed her right now.

When he got to the school, he took sometime to get to the office, not ever being in this school before.

"Hello Mr. Black," he changed his last name on the paper so it would be less suspicious, "Your niece is in my office. She has your stuff all you need to do is sign her out. She does have a lot of bruises so please be careful."

"Ms. Black, your uncle is here." Kaitlynn was too afraid to hug her uncle, thinking he was mad at her. He was furious but not at her. At Flash.

"Kaitlynn I give you permission to be absent tommorow. Please tell someone if this starts up again." Not trusting her voice, she shook her head yes.

They walked out to the car, which was a 2006 Pontiac G6, and as Steve started to drive, the dreaded question popped up.

"Why didn't you tell me?"
