prologue

It was a dark and rainy night. The roads were slick and as he was slowly driving on down the road he seen an accident and called it in. He got out to try and help when he noticed it was just a girl not much younger than himself bleeding from her head. He pulled her out of her car and laid her down on the wet ground. He pulled his shirt off and used it to apply pressure to her wound. "Its all going to be ok." he had whispered to her even though she had been unconscious.

He heard the sirens coming closer and he could see the flashing lights in the distance. He knew it would be a matter of time before they got to him. he was trying to stay calm but he was scared and nervous as he helped save this young girls life. He didn't know her name but he knew that they would meet again. he knew life had a funny way of working things.

"We'll take it from here young man" the officer said to him. He just nodded and got up to leave but turned around when he heard the officer calling out to him. "Thank you for all your help tonight, she just might make it because of your quick thinking. May i have a name in case she asks?" i just nodded and told them my name.

"we'll stay in touch Mr Styles and again thank you for your help" Nodding i just walked to my car and drove away. leaving the flashing lights and the girl in my rear view mirror.
