A Junior vacation

Chapter 1: Making New Friends

   It was the start of a brand new school year for Kenzi Therin. She had just moved from Maine to Virginia. Kenzi is quite nervous about starting a new school in one week. She had to move away from her closest friends in Maine. One of Kenzi's main goals her junior year was to go on a trip with her new friends from her new school. In order to go on the trip she has to make friends first. The trip is not until April so she has some time to make some new friends at school before the vacation. It was nine o'clock on a Friday night when Kenzi sat down on her bed to write in her journal. She writes in her journal every night. Two of the main things that Kenzi was worried about that every highschool has were boy and school drama. Kenzi does not like drama between boys and school. It was almost midnight on a Sunday night. Kenzi could not sleep because she was worried about school tomorrow. So Kenzi went on her phone to read some fan fictions. It was around twelve thirty when Kenzi finally got some sleep. It was six in the morning on a Monday. Kenzi got up and got dressed for school. When she was done getting ready she went downstairs to eat some breakfast. It was around seven thirty when Kenzi got to school. When she walked through the school doors a fellow student came up to her and said "hey my name is Caroline Farlowe." Kenzi responded with "hi my name is Kenzi it's nice to meet you." After that the girls sat at a table and started talking as they were waiting for the bell for class to ring. Caroline told Kenzi "hey we have all classes together so you can follow me to the classes since you're new." Kenzi said "yes please that would be so helpful." When they got to their first class a boy with black hair caught Kenzi's eye. Kenzi leaned over towards Caroline and asked "who is that boy that just walked in?" Caroline responded with "that is Ian Lipski he is in our grade." When Caroline said that Kenzi's eyes widened just a little. The girls had just made it downstairs for lunch which is around twelve thirty. When the girls got downstairs Kenzi accidentally turned around and bumped into Ian. When Kenzi saw Ian in front of her she quickly said "I am so sorry I did not mean to bump into you I am new here."Ian responded with "oh don't worry about it, I am Ian Lipski by the way." After they said sorry and introduced themselves they were heading to the table where Caroline was sitting. Kenzi and Ian have been talking for a long time. After the last conversation that Kenzi and Ian had the bell rang for class. Before they went up the stairs one of Ian's friends comes up and says "hey I am one of Ian's friends my name is Connor Corder." Ian and Connor did sports together. As Ian was talking to Kenzi, Brandon was talking to Caroline. After Connor introduced himself to Caroline they became friends just like Ian and Kenzi. When the four of them finished talking they were going to the same class. The class they were headed to was music and theater. When school was over the four friends went to The Lava Espresso Club. They went to there to hangout and to do homework together. It was about five when the four friends got there. When they got there the four friends sat at a table that was right by a fire place. The girls sat down and the boys were going to get the drinks. The girls wanted the chocolate mocha. So the boys ordered the girls drinks and then they ordered their drinks. The boys were waiting for the drinks and then the drinks were ready finally so then the boys brought the four drinks to the table. The girls told the boys "thank you, you did not have to order and pay for our drinks." Kenzi asked Ian "how much did my drink cost I will pay you back?" Ian said "do not worry about it, its fine and plus your new so it's my treat." Ian paid for Kenzi's drink and Connor paid for Caroline's drink. After the friends did their homework they were talking and playing twenty questions and finishing their coffee.
