Vanna walked into the streets of the town Nesyrn. She wore a cloak even though it did not really hide the fact she was wearing all white. She roamed the streets and saw a starving child. "Would you like something to eat?" Vanna asked. The young boy nodded his head, scared. She took off her cloak and gave him a gourmet meal on a silver platter out of thin air. "Thank you so much ma'am!" He cheered while she sat beside him watching eat til his heart's content.
After a while the boy fell asleep on her lap, she caressed the small boy's hair and sang:
"I remember tears streaming down your face, when I said 'I'll never let you go'. When all those shadows almost killed your light. I remember you said 'don't leave me here alone'. But that's all dead, gone and passed tonight. Just close your eyes, the sun is going down. You'll be alright, no one can hurt you now. Come morning light, you and I will be safe and sound. Don't you dare look out your window, darling everything's on fire. The war outside keeps raging on. Hold on to this lullaby, even when the music's gone. Just close your eyes the sun is going down. You'll be alight, no one can hurt you now. Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound. Just close your eyes...you'll be alright...come morning light. You and I'll be safe and sound."
Greyson just happened to be around then corner when all of this happened. Vanna used her cloak as a blanket for the boy sleeping on her lap. Greyson walked up to Vanna "you're not human, are you?" He crosses his arms waiting for an answer. "I am not, but I know you personally. I know you still remember me." Her shining blue eyes brimming with tears touched his heart.
