This chapter is brought to you by a continued lack of Kengno scenes in LBC. That and the fact that I watched I Am Your King series last night and even more in love with Siwat Jumlongkul?

Thank you so much for leaving comments/voting! :D

[This chapter contains very very slightly implied underage sex and is loosely based on Mark's character's relationship in IAYK! If you haven't watched it already, do so.]

Kengkla, when he was in Matthayeom 4 winter semester, he met a distant cousin who had been visiting Bangkok for the first time. He had been from the Chinese side of his mother's family and did not really speak Thai; only a few broken sentences, ill-constructed sentences. It had been made Kengkla's responsibility to show him around the country. As if Kengkla had no other job. However, he did not even have the choice to say no so he had picked his 'cousin' up from the airport and had given him the city tour. He skipped a few classes but nothing that he couldn't have managed. In the following weeks, Kengkla discovered he was quite not straight as his cousin with very persuasive skills tried to get physical with him and he had enjoyed it. Kengkla had never really given a single thought to the countless letters and gifts he had received from so many unknown female students in his schools. Maybe he was gay then. It didn't concern him too much as long as he had pleasure, he concluded. The short-lived winter romance came to an end when his cousin left. He then hit on Technic to see what could happen. Technic had rolled his eyes and had commented offhandedly, 'I'm not my brother' with a roll of his eyes and Kengkla had been baffled with what that had even had to do with what he had been trying to do (to get a reaction out of Technic who apparently, truly care about nothing apart from the materials he gained. Great.) He filed the comment to the back of his mind for later investigations and sneaked out to pubs on weekdays (to not raise suspicion) to mess around and find warm bodies plastered to him in sweaty closed spaces, figuring out his sexuality. None of them had been as fun as fooling around with his cousin had been. There had been a thrill there, pulsing under his skin, a thrum and a slight smile on his face each time they had made out; each time his cousin had run his fingers on his skin.

It had been around March, the winter semester almost coming to an end when he found out that cousin had been engaged to his fiancee at the time he had been in Bangkok and now was also married. Kengkla had seen the mail on his father's bright desktop announcing the holy matrimony while he had been scrolling down to find anything remotely important (Kengkla spent his free time digging through possible useful things.) He had quickly searched for any mail inviting them to the wedding ceremony held in Bali and there had been one- dated the previous October. Everyone had known his cousin had been engaged and had been on his way to getting married. Except for him. Kengkla had robotically logged out of the page and had shut the system down. It hadn't mattered. It was fine. It had been some random cousin of his. If that person had no qualms about it then why should Kengkla?

Kengkla went about his days, as usual, preparing for his exams and paying Technic attention and ignoring the latter as he pleased. Once his exams and practicals were done, he sighed in relieve. In fact, all of them did. Technic begged to be taken out for a lunch treat so Kengkla had.

They spent the entire day at an arcade. When they were finally tired, they went to the cafe closest to that building. It was a posh cafe with a refined interior decorum that had Technic gaping at it. Kengkla effortlessly read through the menus and ordered for them both when Technic only floundered at the foreign words. Technic had a flight that night to catch for Phuket for a family trip, so his brother was trying to hurry him. Technic turned his phone off. Kengkla didn't get why Techno was trying to do so much for someone who didn't ask for it. Shouldn't you just stop when someone said no? Kengkla wouldn't have ever done shit for a brother like Technic. He felt bad for Techno's girlfriend. Whoever it was. Such a persistent git the older boy was. Techno, thirty minutes later, turned up at the cafe because the dumbass of a person that was his classmate had updated a status with his current location. So, of course, his brother had found him. Kengkla shook his head and asked politely,
