Aly gave her a soft peck while she held the chair for her.  "Don’t try to indian sit or anything, I might not be able to finish breakfast", she whispered.

Den just let out a small chuckle.

"I realized, I'm hungry, did you cook all these?" – Den.

"Yeah, I figured we'll have a heavy breakfast instead so you can rest some more after this, but if you prefer just toast or something, I can ---." – Aly.

"This tapang Batangas is perfect babe!" – Den.

"Babe huh!" – Aly

"So, who's from Batangas?  You didn’t tell me you went there recently."  Den.

"My mom came for a visit yesterday.  They did some shopping and decided to bring me some of this.  I paged you but you were in the OR.  Sayang nga eh", Aly said casually.

Den was referring to the tapa, a specialty of Batangas.  She didn’t know Aly is from Batangas.  "Oh, I didn’t know you're from there", was the only thing Den could answer.

"You don’t know a lot of things about me hunnybun haha." – Aly.

"And you know a lot about me?" – Den.

"Not much, I only know that you are the daughter of "the" best neurosurgeon of the country, you are the eldest and you have a brother and a sister, you were a good student, graduated top of your class, you're a sucker for Sheldon and Gardner and Patterson, of course Sinatra, Fitzgerald, - you're an old soul Dennise."

"So, anything more Ms. Valdez?  You got those from going through my stuff when I leave you at home, hmmmp." – Den.

"Wait, it's your turn.  Tell me what you know about me." Aly with a grin widely pasted on her face.

"Considering that after 5 weeks and 3 days of almost, almost ha, YOU sharing my bed, and this is the FIRST time you took me home, and I had an uneventful emergency last night, lemme see --- " – Den.

Den took a mouthful first and took a sip of her milk before giving her observations.

"This is really good ah, do you have more of this?  Can we take some to the office for Monday?  I still want this on Monday" – Den.

"I have lots more for you, don’t worry.  You're avoiding the subject Den." – Aly, as she gave her a quizzical look.

"Haha, wait lang"– she cleared her throat and looked at Aly.  "You were also top of your class.  You were a student athlete and a student leader.  You have three brothers, thank you for the picture you keep in your sala.  We are both big band fanatics.  You adore Kahlil Gibran.  I am surprised and amazed that you can sketch.  I love that you do chiaroscuro."

"How did you know?" – Aly.

"Too easy!  The BALDO on those art works gave you away Valdez.  Hahaha!"  You have such fine hands.  No wonder --- hahaha!" – Den.
