Bloods POV

When you have a father your told a lot of things growing up. Your told your father is someone who is supposed to love you and protect you with every thing he has. A father is meant to show stern yet loving guidance, someone sturdy you can lean on when times are tough. But me? Tsk, that could never be further from the truth.

My father was hardly a father to me. I call him father because that's the only label I've ever given him. I can't pin point when exactly I found out who he really was. I can't pin point when I found out why he treated my the way he did. I know he's been through a lot in his life, past experiences manifested into something bad. It hangs off my fathers shoulder whispering things here and there that poison his mind, spirit and speech. He was hurt by people he was supposed to trust. But then again...I have to understand that. Well...that's what I always told myself.

Brutus' POV

I wasn't always this way. I wasn't always a black silhouette of somebody who once knew how to love. I was a broken branch snapped off the family tree like a twig, left on the ground to rot after rain storms of depression and the fear of being alone. I made a future for myself. I made a future with the twisted mind and shaken thought of being hurt again.
My family left me when I was 6 years old without a word. No note. No goodbye. No NOTHING!
They helped create a monster. They turned me, watched as my silent tears formed a river of sadness behind me every where I went. I forgot how to feel.
Forgotten...
Alone...
Weak...
Is what I knew myself by. But after a while. The river shriveled up and died. That's all that remained were shattered peices of a broken heart, the sound of screaming strained from crying, the trail of a wolf who had no reason to make a positive impact on anyone he met.

But then I met HER.
