The snow fell gracefully to the already blanketed ground. The wind blew with a soft howl, like a lone gentle wolf howling at the glittery moon. The scenery was beautiful, but it did not match how Will felt. He was staring out the fogged window in his new house. His family moved alot, they never stay in the same place for long. He was tired of the constant packing and goodbyes, but what can a kid do? Put their foot down and say "No"? Not quite.
Will sighs, turning back the cardboard boxes on the hardwood floor. He kneels down, shivering from the cold floor. He rips open a box in a frustrated motion. It was his space stuff. Will felt warmer at the sight of his prized possessions. He loved space, he REALLY loved space. He remembers all the times his dad would take him out at night and they'd stargaze. He knew it was "geeky" and "lame", but he couldn't help it.
Will starts to carefully take the stuff out. The pale boy postions everything in order, satsifying the perfectionist inside. He brushes his curly brown hair from his faintly freckled face, admiring his collection. He looks at his watch and jumps ; 9 AM already?! Will grabs his bike helmet and dashes out the front door, waving to his startled family. He was on his way to the new Astrology Center that had just opened up. He had never seen anything like it, but he instantly fell in love.
Will hops on his wore-out blue bike and peddles down the shoveled sidewalk. It was unwise to be out in the frosted streets, the tempertures shocking low numbers, but he could not wait any longer. He had to see that center now.
Will skidded on the icy pavement, walking his bike over to its respectful rack. He chained up the blue beauty then looks up at the building. He unbuckles his helmet, lost in a trance. It was beautiful. He runs up to the front door, swings it open at record speeds, and sprints inside. He stops dead in his track once in the majestic facility. The walls sparkled with dazzling stars and vivid purples, pinks, and blues. The lady at the front desk and said the words Will would never forget :
"Welcome to the Willowville Astrology Center, where you're lifted up to the stars"
