There's nothing worst
Than a broken trust
And she knew that
As her heart crumbled
Into the ashen dust
But yet she tried
One more time, knowing
That she'd get hurt
At the end of the day
One more time of that foolish trust
She hoped and gave away, before
Plugging head first into the pot of shame.
