Red poked her head through the doorway to their bedroom and smiled when she saw that outline of her love curled up in bed. She walked as quiet as a 7'1 person could and kneeled by the bed, softly pressing her face into her neck, "I'm sorry.. I missed you.. I love you.." She whispered, and walked off.
Deltas POV
I smiled to myself as I heard Red walking to the couch. Although I was slightly disappointed she would be sleeping on the couch, I knew she deserved it for leaving for three days and saying to me before she walked out the door she'd be dead three days ago. I'd talk to her later.
(next day)
I woke up at about five in the morning, and knew Red wasn't awake as I couldn't hear the TV or the heavy thumping of her boots. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and slid off, walking out into the living room, pausing and hiding behind a wall to listen to Red talk to herself.
"How did I get such an amazing woman.." I'd here her say. My heart dropped. "I don't deserve her.. She deserves so much more.. not someone like me.." Red buried her head in her hands. "Why is she still with me?" She hissed. I walked hesitantly walked out from behind the wall. Red hadn't heard me, and so she jumped when I touched her shoulder. She leaned back, watching me when I crawled into her lap
"Because I love you, thats why." She wrapped her arms around my neck and buried her face in my chest. "But you.. deserve--" "You. You is what I deserve." I cut her off and leaned up to kiss her. Red set her hands on my thighs and sighed out of her nose softly. As we parted she smiled softly and pressed her face into my shoulder. "I love you..."
"I love you too.."
