I burst through the doors and dart down the hallway. Quickly making my way up the stairs. Tears start to fall down my cheeks as I open the door to the roof. I look to the left and see her. The girl I've only known for a month. She looks at me with eyes filled with sadness. "Noah wha..what are you doing here." Her gaze falls to the ground as the balls her hand into fists. "Please don't jump." I take a step closer. Fighting the urge to run to her. "Why? It's the only way I can escape." She brings her head up. Her eyes filled with tears, she quickly turns toward the edge and steps on the railing. Her hair blowing rapidly in the wind as she starts to climb over. My face soaked in tears as I run to the railing. I softly grab her hand, "Don't do this to me! Don't do this to the people that love you!" She looks at me with a hateful gaze, "Nobody loves me Noah! Why.. why else would I be here?" She looks back down and tears fall from the eyes. "I just want to leave. Don't you want me to be happy?" I open my mouth to say something but next thing I know her hand is gone from mine. She jumped... I fall to my knees and put my face in my hands. She was more than nothing to me. Yet she felt like no one cared. But I cared and, i admired her. The way her eyes would dart around the room , or the way she would turn light pink when she got embarrassed. I start to sob as I realize how much I should have told her. How much i didn't tell her. I didn't tell her that I loved her. How much I love the girl named Emma.
