As I walk through the woods, I started to think. I was thinking of my friends. Thorin, Dwalin, Balin, Dis, Bilbo, Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, Dori, Nori, and thinking of their new family members I haven't met, but heard of greatly. Dis's son's Fili and Kili, then Nori and Dori's little brother Ori, and Oin and Gloin. Wait I know Oin and Gloin, just haven't see them in a long time. There was Dailn, but he's not my friend anymore. Big argument, never solved.

*snap*

What was that? I'm pulled from my thought and my senses go from 50% to 100% on. I catch the scent of Gandalf the Grey. My teacher, best friend, and someone i'm indebted to. The one thing I hate more than Smaug the terrible.

"Ah! There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you, Princess."

Well me being in my wolf form growled at him for calling me "Princess"

"Oh! I forgot you don't like being called that anymore."

I phased back into my human form.

" What is it you need, old friend? You said you were looking for me."

"Always straight to the point, my dear. I need your help, please?"

"Gandalf you do not need to ask. I'm still indebted to you." I tried to hide my annoyance.

"Of course my dear. I need you to go on a quest with me and some others. To reclaim a homeland from a terrible beast."

I start to think again. Quest? Others? Reclaim a homeland? Terrible beast? Could he be going to reclaim Erebor? Could the terrible beast be Smaug?

"Yes, my dear. I am going to reclaim Erebor and I need you to protect the company of Thorin Oakenshield. He already chose his company and they will meet us at the shrine where Bilbo Baggins lives, there's a mark on the door. I hope to see you there, I will take you out of debt if you do this though."

"Gandie. One, of course I'm doing this. Two, I'll see my friends again. so yeah. Three, getting out of debt with you is just an extra earning out of this all."

"Be at the shrine by tomorrow. I have to go now, see you soon, my dear."

With that he left me alone. I was going home, finally. I'll see my family again. With all the excitement I had. I had trouble sleeping, though soon I fell asleep.

~TIME SKIP NOON THE NEXT DAY~

I was in my wolf form again running to get to the shrine. Bilbo probably doesn't even know what Gandalf is planning. Stupid cousin of mine. At least it's not any of the other hobbits. They dislike me very, VERY, much. The sky grew dark as I ran. Then I saw lights. The shrine! I was almost there. As I ran to Bilbo's house I heard the chatter and laughter of the dwarfs. I slowed my pases and stopped at the door. I reached my paw up and clawed the door, but made sure to use my magic to make sure there were no claw marks. The house became quiet. The door opened, Bilbo studded there looking mad, worried, and sacred. He saw me and relaxed.

"My dear! It's so good to see you again. Please help me! They won't leave."

I walked in the house and followed the noise to the kitchen/dining room. I saw all my friends and new faces. I barked and it got all their attentions, I phased back into a human. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Some went to give me hugs but I stopped them.

"No hugs! Everyone of you better say sorry to Bilbo or else none of you will get any sleep on the journey."

"Sorry Master Baggins!" Everyone said at once in fear they would lose their sleep.

"Jay do you know what's going on here? How did you do that?"

"Bilbo, I apologize for their behavior. And for Gandalf not telling you. Please wait till our leader comes and everything will be explained then.

"Very well, Jay, apology accepted."

"Thank you, Bilbo. I'll go eat then clean up their mess."

"Jasmine. Can we have hugs now????" Nori whined like always.

After three million rounds of hugs, it was time to meet the new family members. Not by blood but by bond. Now or in the future.

"Jasmine, this is Fili and Kili Durin, Thorin's nephews, Ori, youngest brother to Noir and Dori."

"It's nice to meet you three. So nephews of Thorin. Fun am I right? Is he still annoying and grumpy, too?"

"Uncle is NOT annoying or grumpy! Even if he is who are you to say those things about him? He's the best dwarf out there and an honorable man, too."

"Well T is lucky to have a nephew who stands up for him. He will be proud of you Fili. Thorin's my best friend. We grew up together."

"Oh, Okay."

"I was testing you sorry for saying those things."

"It's okay"

"Sister and Thorin also had history." Bifor started.

"Ya, they had a secret relationship." Bobur added.

"No we didn't!"

"Or, they were to thick headed to see they loved each other." Bombur argued.

"Or they still are!" Oin added to the fire.

"ENOUGH!!!!" The room and house went silent. Then there were three knocks at the door.

*Knock knock knock*

Gandalf got up to answer the door. Bilbo and the other dwarfs followed. I stayed to make a bowl of soup. Not only for me, but one for Thorin. Soon after Thorin questioned Bilbo, they came into the kitchen and soon all the sound of feet stopped. All except one. That soon stopped right behind me.

"Well, I haven't heard or seen you in a long time, Jasmine. Might want to tell me why before I yell at you."

I turned around and looked Thorin, The King of the Mountain, in the eyes. He's gotten handsomer.

"Well I had to get my powers under control for I didn't hurt you. Plus I was trying to figure out what all I am. Also trying to get to know my family and heritage. Which I have finished and was looking for you all. Did your sister not tell you she's been keeping me up to date with how you are and what's new."

"I'll spare you a lecture then....but Dis knows?"

"Yep!"

"Of course she knew."

"So do I get a hug or no? I also got you food so let's all sit down."

Thorin hugged me....a little longer than normal, but it felt nice. He felt warm and at home for me. Mainly when I haven't been home in so long.

"It's really good to see you again, Thorin. To see all of you." I said as the hug was pulled away. It kinda made me sad and miss the warmth he share, but I need to focus right now.

"Aye. Us as well, lass. We missed you too."
