The meeting

Ophelia's POV-
    Great
. A new school. Just what I needed. It took me YEARS to make friends at my old school. I'm not very good at talking or making friends. Im very socially awkward.
  
    When my dad told me we were moving I almost burst into tears. My life was there, everything I knew was there, in that small town of Galaseo, Massachusetts. Although I miss it there, my house, the tree in my front yard, I miss my friends the most. We grew up together, we've known each other forever, now I'm just alone.

    I'd been so deep in thought that I walked into a boy and fell. My papers flew everywhere. My binder snapped when a girl stepped on it, then she started laughing and soon everyone's eyes were on me. Great. What a perfect way to start. The boy grabbed my hand and pulled me up, straight into his face, and he smiled.

"Hi, I'm Sean", he introduced. I just stared up at him. He was kinda cute.

"And you are?", he kinda laughed and motioned his hand to me.

"Um a mess kinda", I laughed back, "I'm Ophelia", I offered my hand back. He grabbed it and looked me in the eyes.

"Hi, Ophelia". Man he made my stomach feel queasy and my knees go weak.

The bell rung. Shit, I thought to myself.

"Uh I better get to class, but nice meeting you, Sean!", I got louder as I ran to class.

"Uh you too, Ophelia", his voice got quieter. I thought of him all of class, hoping I'd see him after this. By next period I'd basically forgotten all about it when suddenly the girls in front of me started whispering about how 'the new girl has a crush on Sean'. I got upset so I tapped one of the girls shoulders.

"Who's the new girl I don't know about?", I questioned sarcastically. Her face turned red.

"I-uh-I", she stammered.

"Uh uh uh", I mocked, "don't talk about me behind my back", I exclaimed and turned back around.

"Miss Danski, since you find it SO important to talk in my classroom instead of work, I assume you have no problem going to the office", Mrs. Ollie's voice rang in my ears and my face heated.

"No, actually I don't", I retorted.

"Excuse me?", she questioned. I got up and started walking towards the door. The whole class was laughing.

"You're getting a detention!", she called out after me. I walked to the office and right as I saw inside, there he was. Sean was back.
