"We won't rest
Against their useless jest
We'll knock em' down
Take back the crown
We'll be the very best

This is a new generation
We're fighting for our nation
We'll stand together
Birds of a new feather
Welcome to Damnation

Your reign of hell is done
You can't control us hun
I'm not afraid to say you've seen your last day
Your dark age'll see the sun

We won't bend to dictation
We're The New Foundation
You're gettin' overthrown
Welcome t' the danger zone
Welcome to Damnation"

Seeing the chaos erupt from the celebratory supers was kind of cute. The little riddle that the Leader had improvised when first creating The New Foundation had become widely popular within the Damnation walls. The rich, rough, English accents of the new kind hugging every word and creating goosebumps on the Leaders skin. It was exhilarating.

To know your hard work has payed off and that you've given people who were damned a chance and happiness was exhilarating. Beyond words. She stood in the shadows, watching them celebrate another successful raid on a non-powered camp that had set up a little too close. They'd gone in, freed the slave super, robbed them blind, then disappeared like they'd never even been there. They'd uprooted their campsite and walked far enough that they felt safe that the non-powered wouldn't find them. It was efficient and effective. The naivety of the non-powered amazed her sometimes.

A steady pound was a beat for their little theme tune. Stomp, stomp, stomp, stomp. And to the beat, the camp chanted- "Welcome to Damnation". Lex decided to come out at that time, letting her arms spark up with the power coursing through her veins-
"Welcome to Damnation!"
The camp erupted into chaos. It was surprising that they still had the power to be happy after the war. After so many fallen friends. After being shunned from civilisation if they didn't want to be a slave, in prison or in constant pain. In all fairness, not all of the kids in the camp had been firsthand witnesses to the war. Not many of them had the privilege to hold their dying friends while being ruthlessly attacked. The New Foundation didn't have many from the war era. It's believed that kids who survived the war are more powerful, being the first wave of supers. Of the 327 members of the Damnation camp, only 13 had been apart of the war. Lex being one of them. Lex was the oldest at 21. She was 17 when she came into her powers, the war having been 5 years ago, while most other kids where 16. Other than the 13 not many kids where older than 18 in the camp.
