Lucette's POV
A few days after they escape the palace and revived the queen. (Also kinda trigger warning)

"I hate you." I said staring into the eyes with pure hatred. "Why do you even exist? Nobody cares about you. All you do is cause pain and misery." I spat with venom dripping from my voice. "You cause all this! This is all YOUR fault!"

"You don't deserve everyone's kindness! They can't even stand you! Just go and DIE!" I yelled punching the mirror in front of me. I clutched my injured hand to my chest and glared into my champagne eyes.

I then stared at my injured hand. "You deserve this. You don't deserve him." I said picking up a piece of broken glass. I brought it to my chest, "I'm sorry, Waltz."

"NO!"

Before the glass could plunge it's way into my chest, a rope of light wrapped around the glass and yanked it from my hands. I turned and glared at Waltz as his rope of light disappeared, along with the glass.

"What the HELL are you doing?" Waltz said in a cold, calm voice. "You know what I'm doing, Waltz. I'm making this world a better place...a place without me in it." I said tears bridging my eyes.

"Lucette, no God please no. Don't say that." He said walking up to me and pulling me into his arms. "Let me go." I said chocking back a sob. When he only tightened his grip around my waist, I started struggling against him.

"Let go of me! I don't deserve to be held by you!" I started raising my voice as I tried to my arms out of his iron grip. "You don't deserve....Lucette, what are you talking about? I don't deserve you." He said astounded that I could even think that.

With new found strength I shoved against him, effectively pushing him back. "You DO NOT get to say that. I don't deserve you! I don't deserve your friendship or kindness! I don't even deserve to be in your presence, Waltz!" I took a deep breath, trying to stop the never ending tears.

"Y-you deserved  a happy childhood. You deserve a marriage with a person who you don't have to worry about. You...deserve someone better.....someone better than me." I couldn't hold it in anymore, I broke down and cried.

"How can you say that?" He said head down and hands clenched in anger. "How can you say that, Lucette? You are perfect. You're kind, strong, brave, clever, smart, beautiful-" A sob cut him off. "Y-you've been through so much *sob* but you're still standing on your own two feet. I love you too much and it hurts to see you hurt like this."Love? He stopped and rushed forward, wrapping me into a hug and crying into my hair.

"Waltz..?" I said completely dazed from his words. He loves me? "D-don't leave me alone, Lucette. Not again." Was all he could choke out before sobbing once more. I cautiously wrapped my arms around him and started crying into his shaking form.

I gently pulled away, and held his face carefully in my hands. I wiped his tears away as I stared into his ruby red eyes. "Don't cry, Waltz. I'm not leaving you." I said gently putting my forehead against his. "Besides, your eyes are to beautiful to have tears in them." I said chuckling lightly.

He smiled and tilted his head down to meet mine. His lips met mine softly but passionately. Waltz pulled away after a few seconds and sighed, "I love you, Little Star." "I love you too, Waltz.
