Targaryens Blood

Introduction

The snow drizzled above our heads as the distant flames from men with torches lit up the field around our castle like fireflies, they marched through the snow towards our gates, flags holding up a banner I was very familiar with. My dark hair blew in the wind as I felt the cold touch my cheeks striking my pale skin. I turned to look at the man who stood beside me, a gleam smile across his face, his blonde hair flowing in the air, eyes bright staring back at me.
"Winter is here." I softly said. "Winter is here my Queen." He repeated. I looked over the men once more before turning on my heels and looking at the men who were waiting for a command. They all held their stance as they stared up at the both of us.
"House Lennox!" The commander began to shout, his men followed shortly after chanting our houses name. "Queen Alannah" Another man began to chant. "King Reymnd." Another man said.
I could see Reymnds smile become larger as the men chanted our names. I watched him intently. His eyes lustful and curious. While I watched him. Quinten was watching me. Following my eyes. he noticed my smile. gradually, slowly, turning to a serious frown. The light in my eyes vanishing as fast as it had come. It was like a I had flipped a switch. He had believed. When I noticed his gaze I looked back at at him. A glance that only lasted a moment. Then I looked away. Looking down again at my people. "Open the gates!" I commanded.
