The dork cop and the perfect cop

Chapter 1

Music filled the bar as he drank his coffee from Starbucks which was a few blocks away. Due to his health his medicine made it to were alcohol would interfere with his medicine but it could send him to the hospital if he had way to much. It was a nice day for him due to the fact he had the day off. He work as a cop and lived with Dan the lieutenant who had become his father when they became close and demand for him to live with him also for adoption papers.
Henry Ivburge is this dorks name. His way to dark brown hair was in a under cut but was shaggy, a bit to long, and had a very had a light curl to it. His freckles brought out his Amber gold eyes. He was dress in a black hoodie that had on the ends colored rainbow. a light blue shirt, black jeans, and red shoes. He didn't feel comfortable in a bar but he didn't mind either. He watch people do stupid stuff and people dance. It reminded him of a live YouTube video sometimes.
He had been invited to drink with his friends but they had left him behind due to the fact he was sober and being drunk out of there minds though he didn't want to drink with them or wasn't feeling good. though Marry was with them secretly sober to watch them so he didn't have to worry. Though Dan didn't come he was at the office working late which was a big old lie he wanted to watch golden girls nights but not wanting to say it he came up with that lie. He wonder why he was still here at the bar. he didn't dance at bars despite loving to dance. It was due to the fact he was shorter then most people female and male. He found it embarrassing when standing next to people which made people at work tease him. He didn't drink cause he would die. Maybe he was bored but he felt like something was going to happen.

Taking a sip his coffee he he hear a voice say to him out of the blue "Excuse me, are you here alone?" He choke on his coffee in surprise. He wasn't expecting anyone would talk to him tonight. The voice said in slight alarm that was barely there, he wasn't being sarcastic though he could tell. "sorry, I didn't mean to surprise you.". Henry mange to say after his coughing fit "no, no it's fine." he turn to look at the voice grinning at the man who was beautiful and yet seem very cold. His smile didn't flatter though "Hi I'm Henry, and yeah I'm alone my friends went on without me." The man had slightly dark brown hair that was perfect, bright blue eyes, and was dress nicely. He rises a eyebrow as he question "your not annoyed?" Henry giggled "it's fine but it dose confused me." The man chuckled. "How is it confusing?" Henry went on a ramble "Why invite me if you know I don't drink and your gonna leave me behind?" He took a seat as Henry continue to ramble till he finish " they even brought Joey who hates me." He nod reloading "you have a good point ." Then seem to freeze for a few seconds "how rude of me you told me your name and I didn't tell you mine." Henry's eyes lit up as if he was a kid on Christmas " I've been wondering that."

He smirk amused by this " My name is Richard, it's lovely to meet you." Henry had a small blush from that saying back. "well it's amazingly lovely to meet you too!" Richard seem respond with a small smile. Then they proceeded to talk till Henry's phone rang and he turned off the timer "seems I have to go due to the fact I wake up early for my job. Richard hum "I'm starting my new job tomorrow as well." Henry felt panic but realized something So obvious as he mange to say through blush completely nervous "Before we leave, can I have your number ?" Henry always was nervous when he ask for a number but it was different then asking for a friends number. It was like asking for a crush's number but Richard smirk "only if you give me a kiss." Henry drop his drink in surprise. Richard chuckled "I'm joking ."

Swapping numbers and cleaning the mess they left there separate ways till a female bartender said when Richard left "that's the most alive I've have ever seen him." Henry whip his head around to her "really?" She nod "he's always seem so cold and like a robot it is creepy ." Henry look annoyed but said " I still hope he never leaves, robot or not " then walk out going home before another word was said between them. Not noticing the thankful smile on her face.

Arriving home he found dan asleep in the couch the tv still playing. He simply covers him in a blanket before turning off the tv. He had taken his night medicine before leaving so all he had to do was sleep. Changing into a pare of bellow kitty pj shorts and a black shirt he put his phone up to charge only to get a text from Richard saying night. He smiled softly typing back a quick good night. He slept peacefully that night with a stupid grin on his face.
