“Hindi ko sya nilalande. Sadyang seloso lang si Ivan.” Kevin replied wryly.

“T*ng ina. Di pa pala panlalandi yu...”

“Fine. Nilalandi ko si Leeanne. Pero natural lang sa’kin yun, dude. I’m nothing but a sweet man, you know.”

“That’s bullsh*t”

“Perhaps I love seeing you jealous too.”

“What the f*ck do you want?”

“I f*cking want Bella back.” Kevin’s scornful face turned into a desperate expression. “But you won’t f*ckin let me.”

So that’s it? He’s taking the sh*t out of me because I’ve been restraining him from patching things with Bella?

“Why the hell would I let you? You left...”

“I told you I loved her and I still do Dammit”

“Oy. Magigising mga kapitbahay. Baka marinig pa kayo nung mga babae.”

“Ano bang gusto nyong mangyare? Nagpapahirapan lang kayo e.” – Kuya Mike

Kevin stared at me intently and said, “I want Bella back.”

“I want your filthy hands off Faye.”

“I’ll stop hitting on Leeanne if you’ll stop restraining me from winning Bella back.”

“How can I be sure that Bella won’t end up hurting?”

“That’s for me to prove and for you to find out. I don’t have to attest myself to you.”

I took a shot before answering, “Break her heart again and I’ll f*cking destroy you.”

“Fine. So is this a deal?”

“Just keep your words if you still want to live, Natal.”

Kevin showed his full set of teeth before saying, “Finally.”

“Oh ano, ayos na ba kayo dyan?” – Sam

“I’m good.” – Kevin

Everyone looked at me, waiting for my response.

I nodded.

“Yun naman pala e. Oh kampay!”

That’s it. I realized that I had crossed the line when I did everything to keep Natal away from Bella. He was right. He has all the right to prove himself to Bella and everything else is up to her.

I know it’s wrong for me to be glad for having known that Kevin just used Faye to get back to me but I felt relieved when I learned that he really doesn’t have feelings for her.

All I’m concerned about now is that, Faye might have started falling for this freak.

“You used Faye to make me jealous. You have to pay for that.”

“Dude, I didn’t actually use her. It’s just that she really is easy to get along with and that you really are easy to get jealous.”

“I’m not.”

“I was dead mad at you for cutting all the means I had to get another chance with Bella. And there came Leeanne, whom I liked as a person, so I befriend her when we had to work with each other for Art Attack. And as I have observed, you’d been acting like a jealous boyfriend everytime we had to practice. That’s when I learned that you like her too.”
