“Sort of.” “Heck no.” We answered in unison.

“Ano ba talaga?”

“May galit sa’kin.” – Kevin

“Bakit? Kwento nyo na nga. Wala na tayong mapag-usapan e.”

And there, I had to tell the whole effin story again, about how Kevin played with Blaire’s feelings. I really dislike this kind of conversation. We seem like girls talking about their crushes.

“Gago ka pala, pre.” Sam commented after I’m done with the tell-tale.

“Yan tayo eh. Kaya lagi sinasabi ng mga babaeng manloloko lahat ng lalaki kahit hindi naman lahat. Nadadamay kaming mga good boy na tunay magmahal.” Kuya Mike retorted after taking a shot.

“Mga dude, di ko sya pinaasa. I loved her.”

“You call it love? You left her in the middle of the dark. Damn it.”

“Oo na t*ng ina. Iniwan ko sya. Pero di ko sya niloko. Kinailangan ako ipadala nina mama sa Amerika. Hindi ko tinuloy ang panliligaw kasi hindi ko kaya yung long distance relationshit.”

“You should’ve just told her.”

“If I had told her, she wouldn’t let me cut what we had. I’m a man, dude. America is temptation. I knew it would be harder for us to have the f*cking LDR.”

The balcony was filled with silence. Only the sound of the crickets can be heard.

“Mali pa rin talaga pre.”

“Nakakagago pa rin.”

“You are weak.” I commented.

Kevin raised his brow then shot me a glare. “Yeah I was weak. You strong enough to say that to my face? You talk like you have all the courage in the world when you are the most pathetic weakling specie I’ve ever known.”

“What the f*ck did you just say?”

“You’ve been hopelessly in love with Leeanne but look at you now. You are in the f*cking friend zone.”

“May gusto ka kay ate Leeanne?” Sam asked while kuya Mike and Luke stared at me intently.

“I don’t just like her. I love her. I love your cousin.”

“See? Pero anong ginawa mo? Wala. Wala kang magawa. T*ng ina torpe ka.”

“Hindi ako torpe.”

“Eh ano? Anong tawag mo dyan? Katangahan? Dude, we’re in the 21st century! Man up!”

“F*ck. Anong gusto mong gawin ko? Ligawan ko yung tao kahit hindi pa nakakamove-on sa g*gong ex nya? Wag mo kong igaya sayo na walang ibang ginawa kundi magtake advantage. D*mn it.”

“Oy oy oy FACE TO FACE *clap clap clap* FACE TO FACE!” – Sam

“Chill lang kayo mga pre. Idaan natin yan sa kalmadong usapan. O shot muna.” – Kuya Mike

After loosing my grip, I decided to calm myself and keep my cool. This guy is getting in to my nerves like hell.

“Teka nga. Dun muna tayo sa una. Ikaw ba Kevin anong balak mo kay Blaire?” – Kuya Mike

“Siguro itanong mo na din kung anong balak nya kay Faye.”

“May gusto ka din kay ate Leng?” – Sam

Kevin grinned before replying, “Mahal ko pa rin si Bella.”

“Eh g*go ka pala talaga e. Bat nilalandi mo si Faye?”
