I saw her walk down the stairs by the opened crack in the door, I grabbed the phone and hid under the bed. I heard silence, Nothing was being said, and no one was being hit. the door swung open making a loud CRASHING noise as it hit the wall. "Julia?! Julia are you here?!" It was a sweet innocent voice. Not a girls voice though. It was Josh. I got out under the bed, "JOSH!? HOWD YOU GET HERE?! YOU HAVE TO LEAVE. PLEASE!" i said pushing him toward the window. "no im not leaving, I heard you and Laur screaming, I know whats going on. Go downstairs and help your sister, I know thats what you wanna do, Give me the phone, Ill call 911, Your dad doesnt know im here, He wont know that im calling." I hugged him. Right then and there i knew that he was my best friend. I walked downstairs and saw dad in the kitchen, he was trying to find my mom and Lauren. Where could they be? He turned toward me. "Julia, Julia, Julia, where is your precious little sister? and wonderful mother?" "Dont touch them. " I said leaning up against the white painted wall. "i wont hurt you, i promise you that." "You lied daddy, you promised that last time, look what you did to me!" I lifted up my shirt to show him the damage he made. Now, there was open cuts, from the tip of his show hitting my stomach. He knew what he did to me. And he knew he was wrong, But he was drunk, and he is always like this. "Linda, help me find your mother." "Linda?... whos linda?.." I said while he grabbed me, "No one, Just a close friend, A very close friend." . "You cheatted on mommy..I learned about people like you, Your mean, and worthless." He slapped me across the face for saying that. I fell to the ground while tears flowed down my face. He just walked away continuing to look for my mom and sister. I looked around while i was still on the floor, I saw the cabinet door under the sink move. Lauren. was the only thing going through my head. Daddy was in the other room so i was able to make it to the kitchen without him knowing, I crawled behind the island and opened the cabinet under the sink. And there was lauren, With blood on her face. Not too bad, but the fact he hit her was not alright. I grabbed her and she followed. we crawled to the stairs and i whispered to her "go in mommies room, josh is there" a smile appeared on her face. she loved josh, she ran up the stairs and i saw her get into the room safely. I felt a hand on my shoulder and one go on my mouth. It was my mom, She pushed me to go up the stairs. We both ran, daddy following. Lauren opened the door and me and my mom ran in, Lauren and josh quickly shut it as soon as we got inside. They locked it. but that didnt stop daddy from trying to get in.
"Over here!" My mom motioned us to come help her move eht table infront of the door. Even though we were little and didnt have that much strength, it helped her alot. We got it to the door so he couldnt open it. I heard sirens, the cops.
The front door got banged down, They took him away.

"julia im... im so.... im so sorry..." Ryan hugged me, he was out of words, speechless.
" I really wanna say its okay, but its not." was all i could say. Lauren came back in side and had a giant smile on her face. Justin came down stairs, he looked amazing. Julia stop, you cant fall for him, you barley know him, was what i was thinking to myself.
