it was a Saturday. that meant she was going to meet with her friends!

she went downstairs to the smell of pancakes.
"good morning sweetie!" her mum said, cheery.
"hi mummy!" Ellie bounced back.
"good morning sweetie!" her dad said, from behind his newspaper.
they had pancakes, then Ellie thanked her mum and went to find her friends.
