Poem #2: Gone Too Soon

Gone too Soon

You're a ghost that comes then fade

A bubble popped quickly

So happy you came my way

Thought you will finally stay

Yet you walked away

You're a vapor in the wind

You gave my heart an ache

I was lost when I found you

Was alone when I had you

Why did you go away?

You're a red rose filled with thorns

Withers in grief; I mourned

Was blinded by your petals

Was stung by your sharpest thorns

You died my pretty rose

Everything I loved the most

In a blink of an eye

Were all gone too soon
