The Move

Mulan pov
I finally came out to my father today, I just told him that I wanted to move. At first I thought he had a heart attack because he stood there kind of blankly for a few seconds, then finally spoke up, and said
"I can respect your demands" I was surprised I thought he wasn't going to let me.
"Thank you daddy!" I said gratefully
"You better get packing if your going to make it to the U.S., I have already made plans, I knew this day was coming soon." I cant believe I told him. I can't believe that he made plans for me. He took it really well, surprisingly. I'm glad that reacted like he did because I wasn't going to go if he didn't approve of my plans I wasn't going to go, because I love him, he's my father.
"Do you know which city your going to go to?" He asked
I answered with "I'm not sure yet, but I'll decide when I get there!"
"Well I have to know what place so we can get plan tickets there" he said in return
"Well I really wanna go to the big city"
"Let's try the New York City then"
"Why not!" I said in response, its city and I wanna find a job and get one of those apartments, and maybe find my soul mate. I just wish that this doesn't fail and that I become successful.
               ~a few hours later~
I've packed all my things and now it's time to say good bye to my friends and family. I'm trying to hold back the tears and much as I can. I say a good bye to my friends then it was time for my family.
"Father I love you and I will always"
"I love you to mulan, you have brought this family honor" when he said these words I could not keep in the tears, I hugged him and crying I thanked him and then went to my mom
"I love you with all of my love, I will make you proud"  I promised
"I trust that you will, I love you Mulan"
I melted as I was getting to my grandmother she's understood me and I have no idea what to say to her
"Grandma I don't even know how to start-"
She then she cut my sentence with
"Don't worry about me, get on that plane"
"I love you all, I'll visit when I can"
Then i got on the plane and left, I was off on my own adventure, training wheels off.
