Power Locket

It had only been a few days since I had that dream. I don't remember alot of what it was about but I know a part of it and man that was something! But the weird thing about it was that there was these kids well more like three other kids my age were in it. But I had never met or even seen them in my whole life. That wasn't even the weirdest part about it though. I would tell you more but I have to head to school so I will tell you more on my free time. Oh and by the way my name is Denver. Denver Rhee.

Chapter one- The beginning:

I walked into my high school just in time and the first bell rang for first hour. I hurried up to my locker and went to Science. As I took my original seat in the back by the window that the teacher Mr. G. came in. He looked around the room and took out his seating chart so he can take attendance . He said the first name witch was Madison Bells. She was probably the most popular girl in school and maybe the prettiest but I think she's the most horrible and meanest person you will ever meet. Some people think that she's some princess in some famous fairytale like Beauty and The Beast or The Little Mermaid but she is truly the evil bad guy who tries so hard to sabotage the princess but I guess we all have our own opinions on other people. Before Mr. G. could even move on to the next student that I lost my attention to the class and my focus was on the other side of the window. "Ms. Rhee, what are you doing again. I had called your name three times now. Just pay attention next time." I mumbled a sorry but some how found myself looking out the window once again. A bright light that magically appeared in the air caught mine and the whole classes attention. Maybe even the whole worlds! Everyone ran to the window to get a closer look while the teacher was trying to get them away. Then all of a sudden my locket necklace light up and I said out loud, " The dream!" I push by the students and hoped that no one saw the necklace and I ran out of the room. I thought I heard someone calling my name but the more I ran the more I didn't hear the voice. In a few minutes I was outside and the first thought that came to me was to run into the woods and hope no one would find me so that was what I did. I ran and ran and ran as fast as I could and I swear that I heard foot steps behind me and that noise was what was pushing me further. Then all of a sudden a big explosion-like sound came from behind me and the next thing I knew I was in the air for a few seconds and my locket glow once again but this time it was brighter and in a way more powerful to. That was the last thing I remembered before I blacked out.

   Chapter 2- Meeting the different:

I don't know how long I was out for but once I woke up that there was people all around me who I didn't know and and Mr. G. was there to, but how? I thought I ran as fair as possible. I guess I was wrong. But then where are the rest of the students? And who are these people? I got scared and I tried to get up and I did but how I did it was a different story. Have you ever pretended like you had some sort of powers like invisibility or ice and fire power well I didn't have that but I didn't use my hands to get up like I usually do. I thought about getting up and it a split of a milo second I was up like I transfer myself up. I didn't know I could of do that. Mr. G. said in a calm and steady voice, " Denver, I know you might be scared. But don't be, its normal when you first get them. " I wanted to run away or yell at him for telling me to calm down but I didn't. Instead I saw a tree and I thought about going to it and the next thing I know I was in it but this time I had a tangle through my fingers and it was like a powerful force trying to escape through my hands. I didn't know what to do so I aimed it at the people on the ground. I throw my arm back and snapped it forward and the energy did escape my hands but it was like an invisible energy that only I could see. The force of energy hit one of the people down below and the force made him went a few yards behind him. I heard a girl say, "No! Miles!" She ran to him to see how bad he was injured but he only got a few bruises. He said, " Sis, Im ok. I kind of seen it coming. But don't blame her for it. ok. Shes new and she never had these abilities before. Now Gigi help me up and stop complaining." While she was helping him up that Denver use her new abilities to help herself down. Denver looked at the ground and slowly said," Im sorry about him.. About everything. Are you going to be ok? I truly am sorry. I just didn't know I could do that." He said, " Denver its ok. I know you didn't mean to do that. I forgive you." She slowly backed up, " Wait. How do you know my name?" He said " We work and live at this one place in a different city and Garret or as you know him as Mr. G. isn't really a teacher well he is but he teaches people like us who are different and have "powers" and he was here to protect you. And the huge bright light you seen was what gave you your powers that you have now. But the light only choose special people and that necklace you have on actually belonged to Shane Murphys. He's the director of the place we live at." I looked down at my necklace and gently place it in the palm of my hand. I was still looking at it and Miles said, " I know that you think it is your mother who gave it to you but Shane is your mother's dad. Your mothers' name is Leia Rhee right?" I looked up and said, " How did you know... I was just thinking that. Can.. Can you read minds or something?" He shook his head yes and went on, " Yes I can read minds and I can run extremely fast. Like twenty times faster then most people. Oh and I have super human strength." I looked around at the other two people. " So do you guys have some sort of powers to?" Gigi said, " Yes me and Rain both have powers. I have Intangibility witch means I can go through things, and I also  have Teleportation and shape shifting. And Rain haves Pyrokinesis witch means he can create fire through the palm of his hands or form it from his mind. He also haves super human agility witch is where he's super strong, very flexible and he can jump super high and a few other cool things. And one of my favorite ones he has is Atmokinesis witch is where he can create storms." All I could think was 'wow that's amazing' but I couldn't say it because I was speechless so I just nod in return. Mr. G. said, " We should probably go before someone finds us. Especially Stella and her crew. Let's go." He said something into his watch and a few minutes later I heard something from above. It sounded like some sort of airplane and I was right, it was. But here's the catch. It can turn invisible. As soon as it landed on the ground that it slowly become its original color, gray. Mr. G. push something on his watch once again and a sliding door open and we went in. We sat down on these seats and the plane took off. It was quiet for the first few minutes when I finally broke the silence. " So, you guys know my grampa huh." Rain look at me and said, " Yeah we knew him since we were in like middle school. He's a cool dude. Your lucky to have someone like him." I looked down at the ground and said in a quiet voice, " I never really met him. And my parents died when I was seven so I never really met them either. So im not that lucky." I met his concern eyes and he said, " Im sorry. Your grampa never told us that. How did they die?" I looked away and force the not in my throat to disappear and I finally said, " I used to play soccer when I was younger and they were going to one of my games one day and their was a storm coming and they were in the middle of it and they never come out. And they never found their bodies. Ever since then I hadn't played soccer and I never will. Now let's stop talking about me and let's talk about you." He thought for a moment and said, " Well like you, I lost my parents when I was younger. But I never met anyone of my family members so these guys took me in as their own." Mr. G. said, " Speaking of family, once we get there that we want you to meet some people that you might like." And with that no one said anything else on the very long plane ride and I close my eyes for a second and  I found myself falling asleep.
