chapter 1

Brooklyn's P.O.V

I can still taste his lips on mine. He tasted of lemons. His sweet scent that smelled of strawberries coated in chocolate.

I sat in my bed thinking about him and how we could've been cuddled up watching Netflix.

His favorite show was 13 Reasons Why. It was a powerful show that is based on things that can happen in the real world.

"Brooky?" Andy said my name with concern.

"Yeah mate" I responded.

"Do you wanna go to the trampoline place to get your mind off things?"

"Yeah why not." I sighed.

I got out of bed and noticed Jack was shivering so I pulled his duvet over him and kisses his temple.

I wore my green hoodie and Rye's joggers. I have to admit that I have a thing for Rye and Andy is the only one that knows. Rye is straight and I'm a little rainbow.

I thought that dating someone would take my mind off of Rye but all I did was get hurt. I mean I been with him for a year and I thought he would be the one.

I grew fond of my now ex and it set me into a serious depression and that one person doesn't see that in me and it hurts.

Me and Andy left to the trampoline place. We are often called the blonde squad. I love how close we've been since me joining the band.

"What's got you hung up lately?" he asked.

"Everything mate" I sighed.

"Wanna talk about it?"

"Maybe later let's just have fun."

He sighed in content. I knew he didn't want to push it. We walked in a comfortable silence. He was on his phone looking for directions to the nearest Nando's.

~ time skip to the trampoline place ~

We made it to the trampoline place. Andy payed for us but I didn't want to move. I saw him with Harvey. Wait Harv?

"Come on Brook!" Andy shouted.

I jumped after him and we fell and was in a fit of laughter. This got my mind off things and spend it with my best mate.

I eventually got tired of jumping so we went to Nando's. We sat down and talked about the things that was bothering me.

"I'm sure Rye will notice that you've changed just give him time." Andy said softly.

"He won't he's too stuck up Mikey's ass to even notice me." I said sadly.

We finished eating and left to go home.

"Brooklyn, he does care and he sure does need time to come around. He's not too fond of you yet just give it time." he said surely.

We made it to the flat and I went straight to my room and cuddled Jack and went to sleep.
