**WE COULD BE ROYALS**

Grandma, Mia and I were sitting on a long table but grandma and Mia sat across each other and I sat on Mia's right side as we both were Hermes scarves to keep us to sit still in our seats.

"Is it customary in Genovia to imprison your dinner dates with Hermes scarves?" Mia asked our grandmother as she looked down on her scarves as I straightened my back trying to ease the pressure of the scarf that it had against my chest

"It's Hermes. The scarf is merely a training tool. Eventually, you'll learn to sit and eat properly without it." Grandma explained to Mia who shifted quite a lot in her seat, trying to be more comfortable

"Manners matter girls, but enough etiquette for the day. Genovia does a lot of trade with Spain, so we prepare for that." Grandma started to say to us as Mia reached for the salt but it fell sideways on her plate which she grabbed sheepishly putting some on her salad

**WE COULD BE ROYALS**

"The quickest way to a Spanish heart is dance." Grandma said as she grinned at us both as she did a pose

Joe quickly rushed in the room and held on to Mia's hand before dragging her into a different room where there was a small boombox on a table and chairs near them.

"The quickest way to my American-Genovian heart is food." I told her happily with a wide smile spread across my lips causing her to laugh lightly

"Tell me, what kind of dancing do you do?" Joe asked Mia as he dragged her into the middle of the ballroom

"Just normal kind, like..." Mia said as she started swaying around and started bobbing her head, waving her hands in the air making me afraid that she will slip on the floor

"I see." Joe said flatly as he turned to face us both signaling grandma to press the play on the boombox

"We have a Genovian alternative." Joe informed Mia as he turned to face her as grandma started playing the boombox

"The dances here are very sedate. Right from the hips." Joe started saying to Mia who was now starting to bob her head once more making me laugh

"No bobbing of the head, please. It's not a doggy on a dashboard. Straight up. Let's practice this here. This dance is between a waltz and a tango." Joe informed us both as he started dancing with Mia

"A wango?" Both Mia and I asked Joe amused as I smirked at him making grandma hit me lightly in the hand

"Grandma, you injured me." I playfully informed grandma as I placed my 'injured' hand on my chest, holding on to it

"You'll live." Grandma replied to me smiling at me as I giggled, letting my hands fall onto my lap

When grandma and I both looked at Joe and Mia dancing, we saw that Mia basically swung herself into Joe's chest making him grunt as he caught her in his arms

"Ok." Joe said to Mia as she gasped, covering her mouth backing away from him in shock

"No. No, no, no." Mia was saying as she barely started walking past him, already giving up on trying how to dance

"Try again Mia, just one more spin, very quickly." I told my sister trying to comfort her as she nodded her head at my words before walking back to Joe as they began to sway into the music
