Stepping out of the front door as the hinges squeaked,  she stepped out upon the dead grass.  Walking down the now dead gardens cobble path,  her mind began to wander.

Gently sitting on the stone bench that sits just beside the old swing,  she stared Solumly at the once beautiful wooden pallet that was connected to one rope,  the other loosely hanging in the wind. She began to speak as if someone was there.

"Goodness,  it is as if its been ages since I've sat out here,  though it was only yesterday" She smiled as she spoke to the air.

"It's crazy Kim!  Get out of there! " A young boy screamed as the woman looked down to see a light blue ball roll to her feet.  She looked at the two young boys who had lost it,  picking it up and walking over to them.

"Here you are dear" She said tossing it to him.  The two boys scattered as she moved back to her bench.

Now you may agree with the thought of her craziness but nobody will know the story of that tragic night,  except her.

{59 years ago}

The 16 year old girl sat on the porch smiling as she read her book.

"Kimmy,  come on let's go play! "
A bright blue eyed girl smiled as she tugged at her sisters dress.

"Calm down Alison, fine we can go to the garden if you want" Her eyes soft as she spoke.  She stood and held her sisters hand as they walked toward the garden.

The beautiful white gate towered over them.  Open on the gate a beautiful garden overgrown with flowers of all kinds.  Running along the cobblestone path Alison picked a dandelion and squeezed her eyes shut. Her white cotton dress flowed among the wind and the light blue ribbon that lay upon her waist to match her blue stockings fluttered.  Blowing gently on the dandelion she smiled at her wish.  Moving along the path you could hear the click of the young girls balck buckle shoes.

Kimberley deciding to play round and chase the young girl as small squeals of joy and laughter came from the garden. Grabbing her sister and swinging her around Kimberly laughed before placing her down once more.  Walking over to the bench Kimberley sat down crossing her legs and watching her young sister,  book in hand.

Alison races to the swing standing on it rocking herself back and forth,  her bright blonde hair swayed along with her.  Tied with a black bow that rest upon her head.  Her laughter filled the garden as she swung.  Looking at the young girl you would never guess she was twelve.  Her frail small body mad her seem right of nine.

But the young Alison had been sick from birth and couldn't go out much,  so she had been homeschooled.

But as of late she hadn't been learning anything due to the yelling among her folks. They always fought even around the two girls. That is why they stayed in the garden most of the time.
But Kimberly was starting school again so she would have to leave her sister alone more.

Kimberley's thoughts we're cut off by her sisters voice.

"Hey Kimmy,  if I get to sick and I pass like grandma then can you bury me in this garden.  I want to always be near the flowers. " The girl smiled as she looked it her sister for a response.

The brown haired girl stared at her little sister tears pricking her eyes at the though of losing her,  before sighing in content and responding,

"Anything you wish Alison. "

{Two years later}

The eighteen year old girl was walking home from school as a feeling of dread dwelled within her stomach.  Her Hazel eyes scanned the streets wondering what could be wrong.  It was dark from her staying after school for extra studies assigned by her teacher.  She sped up walking toward her house.

Coming upon her porch,  she didn't see her little sister who waited every day for Kimberly to greet her.  The feeling of dread grew as she rushed inside the house.

The deafining sound of her parents fighting echoed all through out the house.  Her fathers yell roared at her mother as he pushed her into he vanity.  The woman pushed back with all her strength. The fighting was tuned out once Kimberly's pulse pounding in her ears and chest over took her.

Running to her sisters room she dropped her book bag looking at the area.  The room was put together as always with one thing missing, Alison.  The back door hung loosely opens s the moonlight shimmer we into the room.  Fear overtook Kimberly as she rushed out the back door in search for her sister.  Rumaging through the garden she ran as fast as her legs could carry her looking for her sister. Suddenly she came to an abrupt stop.

Tears threatened to fall as she stared at the scene.  There on the ground hunched over and breathing heavily was Alison.  Her blonde hair Disivaled,  her nightgown covered in mud from that mornings rain.  Her pale hands scrunched the nightgown upon her heart.

Kimberly rushed to her sister cradling her, trying to get her to breath properly,  to no avail.  The younger girl sobbed as she began to fade in and out of consciousness.  Her blue eyes now beginning to become dull and gloss over.  Her heart beat slowed to an alarming pace as her sister held her yelling out for help.

Kimberly frantically cradled her sister sobbing out for help,  her Hazel eyes f being blinded by the tears.  Her brown hair now rustled and covered in flowers and twigs. Feeling helpless as she watched her little sister look up calmly and whisper.

"I love you Kimmy" Using the nickname she had used for years as her fragile body went limp in her sisters arms.

"I LOVE YOU TOO,  PLEASE ALLISON PLEASE!!! " Yelling out as she held her little sisters body close. Sobbing over her lifeless body.

After hours of crying with her sister in her arms,  Kimberly felt the morning sun lightly shine as petals from the flowers flourished on the wind around them.

Not long after, Alison was buried underneath the willow tree where the swing layed,  a wish was fulfilled that day,  and many hearts broke.

_____________

And so ever since that night,  Kimberly has gone out every day without fail to that old garden,  a crossed the old cobblestone path.  To that wooden swing to sit next to her sister as she reads a book.

Gazing over to the swing Kimmy tears up seeing her little sisters bright blonde hair flow in the wind as she laughs.  Her white cotton dress with the pretty blue bow to match her stockings,  and her bright blue eyes that look over to her older sister smiling and saying.

"I love you"
