Chapter 1

This is my first story so please don't come at me, I know it's bad 😂😂 enjoy !!

"Louise hurry up or your going to be late !" I heard my mother shout at me from downstairs. Today was my first day at school since I moved, I didn't really have any friends at my old school anyways, 'nerd' 'weirdo' and multiple other words I would replay in my head over and over again. I hope my new schools not like this but not only did I move schools I moved countries.

{Time Skip to at school}

I nervously stride into main reception waiting patiently for the woman at the front desk to attend to me. "Name" I could already tell she was fed up so I didn't hesitate in telling her. "Um Louise Hill" I then again waited for her as she typed away at her keyboard, she then shouted another students name which startled me a bit. "Louise this is Benji, he will show you around seeing as he never goes to lesson anyways" "come on let's go" he didn't sound like
the nicest person in the world but I'll get used to it.

I just kept on following him as I would never know where to go "science wing" "maths wing" he said bluntly, " let me see your timetable" I rummaged around in my pockets for it and then handed it to him, our hands touching slightly in the process. Why did I get butterflies when I touched him, no Louise stop he wouldn't like you anyways. "Oh cool your in all of my lessons, I don't usually go but I will for the time being because obviously you don't know anyone except me" he said smiling, "Thankyou, I appreciate it" I replied smiling in return.

First lesson was maths which I was rubbish at because I never paid attention to anything. We walked into the classroom and we sat in the only two seats left, "ok guys today there is a new student Louise" I shyly smiled at the teacher but nobody paid attention, all I heard was 'ew' or 'oh my good look, it's Benji' but of course I was used to people not paying attention to me, I was quite independent. Throughout maths benji helped me with pretty much all of the questions and we laughed, a lot, me earning dirty looks from the other girls. Benji soon enough noticed this. "Louise?" I then felt a tear make its way down my cheek and onto the table. "Louise what's wrong?" He whispered, "excuse me, sorry" I quickly but quietly told the teacher I was upset and she let me stand outside for a minute.

"Louise?" I instantly knew it was him, Benji, I spun around "Louise what's wrong?" He asked once again. I just broke and started bawling my eyes out, I couldn't see as everything was blurred but I felt Benjis arms wrapped around me in a comforting way, oh how I wish he knew, Louise stop! He'll never like you. "Shh it's okay, just tell me what's up", I then calmed myself down and stopped crying, I told him everything, how I was bullied, how I was lonely and had no friends, no one to talk to. I then looked up, he was much taller than me so there was a massive height difference, I noticed him looking at me aswell, our faces inching closer and closer. "Guys please may you come back in now" our teacher said, I hesitantly walked past Benji and I heard him sigh. They started again, the butterflies as soon as I heard him sigh, did he want to kiss me?

We finished the rest of the day not really speaking to each other after what happened during maths. "Um hey Benji?" "What?" He answered, clearly annoyed, "can we talk about what happened earlier?" "What do you mean, nothing happened earlier", I knew it, he doesn't like me but I wish he did. "Oh, ok", it broke my heart hearing him say that, that nothing happened because it obviously did. It was now lunch and Benji waited outside our classroom for me so he could show me the cafe, it wasn't that big, we waited in line for our food but I didn't eat anything, I don't eat when I'm moody. "Aren't you gonna eat Louise?" "Erm no I'm not really hungry", then my stomach rumbled,'crap' I thought, hoping Benji didn't hear, "well your stomach says otherwise" he smiled. I gave him a fake smile back, trying to hide that I'm upset, "you ok?" He asked me "yeah" "sure?" "Yep" I said popping the 'p'. After lunch was history which I also was not very keen on but once again, like maths, Benji helped me through it.

{Time skip to the end of the day}

After English I rushed towards the toilets to let out what I was holding the whole day, I didn't expect Benji to wait for me after school but he did, which surprised me a bit. I walked out the school gates and he slowly made his way over to me, "hey", "hi" I sheepishly smiled, "whereabouts do you live, without that sounding weird but erm, I'd like to walk you home if that's ok with you" "yeah that's fine". Of course in my head I have doubts, like why would he wait for me, why would he walk me home, all these thoughts running through my head I didn't realize that we were already at my house. "Well, here it is", he seemed disappointed that I had to leave. We hugged, really tight, for a while, but as I turned to walk in my house he says something I never thought I would hear come from him. "Hey Louise, can I have your number?" My Heart Is Pounding! "Yeah sure" he hands me his phone and we hug again and say goodbye, "I'll text you later" are the last words I hear before I see him run around the corner towards his house. I bite my lip trying to stop myself from smiling but I just couldn't help it, he's too cute.

L- Hey Benj, I'm alright thanks, I'm just about to go to sleep I'm really tired, sorry I couldn't talk for longer ☹️
B- It's ok I understand, sleep tight and I'll see you tomorrow at 7:30 😉
