FLASHBACK
"I don't understand. Why are they afraid of you? You are my friend. Don't cry Ami, they don't matter. I'll show you," the tiny girl stood up from her spot and walked over to and a small figure sobbing in fear of Marina and the shadow that she often conversed with, "watch Ami."
"Get up," she said now facing the figure on the ground grabbing his arm and causing the much larger child to yelp in pain and follow her order, "Now tell Ami you don't matter."
"I...I," the child stuttered helplessly.
"SAY IT NOW!!!," she screamed in frustration pinning the boy against the wall, attracting the attention of the other children in the room who never acted when seeing Marina and her creature picking on them. They were too afraid of them which made a lot of sense, they were a terrifying duo.
"I-I don't - I don't matter...," he whimpered. Marina dropped the child and flashed a fanged smirk before grinning and turning towards the towering figure now wearing a wobbly smile just wide enough to send chills up your back.
