Queen Hayley POV
I'm 25, and today is the day I am due to have my baby girl. I am scared for her life, because she should not exist. It is not possible. I am a witch, and my husband, King Devon is a vampire. Vampires do not breed. They should not be able to impregnate a woman of any species. I will name my daughter Autumn, after the season she is born in. She be born a full blooded witch but half vampire. On midnight of her seventeenth birthday she must be turned into a full blooded vampire or she will die. This country will never see anything like her, a witch and vampire hybrid. I must prepare for delivery. She will arrive any moment now.
King Devon POV
It is twenty minutes after midnight. My daughter was born at exactly midnight. She has her mothers purple eyes, which all witches have. She has the pale skin of a vampire like me and was born with a full set of teeth which is another vampire trait. She must be hidden until her seventeenth birthday. The world must not know of her.
