The Night after the funeral.

Third person perspective.

     Alissa stood in her room wearing her black long  dress staring out the window with a look that displayed so many emotions yet held no emotions at all. She watched the bright moon glistening in the dark sky while the stars shined as if mocking her tears that rolled down slowly mourning over her loss. Then she started to sob uncontrollably while rocking her body back and fourth yearning  for  the comfort she knew from her lovers hands. She wished that she somehow could communicate with the moon goddess to find her way for she was lost in the abyss of sorrow. Alas that gift was long gone because of the others' selfishness and greed.  

Her body felt weak and tired but this time not because of the physical abuse she used to harbor but because of the emotional havoc in heart. She knew she had to remain strong. However she couldn't hold back the tears and sadness. She needed to feel weakness in order to find strength.

She felt dizzy and her eyelids started drooping which was only normal after such a long night however fate had something else in store. As soon as she closed her eyes she was swept into a white world where no matter how hard she screamed her voice couldn't be heard and then she saw her the moon goddess standing tall and firm with her delicate face that held a knowing smile. She approached her and that is when her voice was heard " Moon goddess "

"hello darling"

"I..I..I  am confused, what happened ?"

" Your heart yearned for a chance again.. a chance to receive my gift another time. The truth dear is that you have never lost it. I just hid it because of all the greed and ignorance that surrounded you. I realized that my gift to you was nothing but a curse. So I gave you one last chance , to meet your love, to ask your questions. this is nothing but a mere way to express my regretfulness. Because if I had never given you that cursed gift then you wouldn't have been captured and your mate wouldn't have risked her life for you. I am truly sorry. I always deemed that you had a wonderful life however fate is a cruel game my dear."

Alissa was dumbfounded. she was shocked. But that shook quickly wore away when she saw a figure emerge from the light. A women smiling so brightly. That women was Patricia. Time stood still and the clock stopped. Tears ran down Alissa's cheeks while Patricia's smile only grew bigger. Alissa ran towards her and hugged her tightly afraid to let go. there moment was cut short by a clearing of the throat. They both snaps there heads towards the moon goddess "girls, I will grant you one date. a proper one. " she snapped her fingers and both girls were dressed in the finest white gowns. "imagine where you want your date to be and that is where you shall go however  by the time the sun rises ,your time will be up and Alissa you shall return back." with that the moon goddess disappeared.

"Alissa, baby. I am so sorry "

" shhh. my love you did nothing wrong. I am proud to be your mate. I want to make the best  memories with you in the next few hours.

"lets go"

Both girls where transported to Macdonalds however they  were the only people in that shop that only had one table. they sat there and then a menu appeared in front of them. 

" Alissa, what would you like to have my princesses ."

" well since my love insists I get something, then how about a Big Mac with a large fries and coke. oh and a nuggets box as well. with a McFlurry."

"wow. honey are you ordering for the both of us?" Patricia smiled at Alissa 

" no babe. but hey what is perfect date without good food."Alissa winked at the smirking Patricia who was looking at her lovingly until both of them started laughing together.

they chatted together. time flew by swiftly however they still had time. 

"I want to watch the sunrise with you. I want to hold you in our last minutes together, I want to kiss you till I forget how to breathe. I love you Alissa."

"I love you too "

With that they both found themselves by the seashore facing the sun that was slowing rising from the vast sea. 

"do you regret it ? "

" I don't. Olivia is a person I believe in however while I was trying to save her my thoughts were about you. about how proud you would be to know that your mate is a hero. Alissa I know that was selfish of me but I couldn't watch Olivia die knowing that someday you might be in her place. I had to do it for US"

"you are the best thing that ever happened to me. your presence in my my life was not only an honor but a luxury. I love you. you were my hope in my darkest times and you would always be knowing that you will watch over me and pray for my protection."

with these last words and as the sun was reaching the peak. Patricia kissed Alissa in a gentle and loving way as if conveying a love story- their love story. they were left breathless. with a last look Alissa disappeared and went back to the comfort of her bed. that is when she finally woke up with a smile lingering on her face. 

this was indeed one memory she will always cherish.
