"You know, you can go to the Justin Bieber concert with us." Amy spoke suggestively. I scowled softly as I placed my books on my desk. My mind telling me to get ready for math before Satan walks into the classroom.
"Why the heck would I go see Justin Bieber? I'd rather see Taylor Swift sing about the people she hates the most then see Justin Bieber with his girly voice." I spoke coldly my eyes glaring at her brown colored orbs. She rolled her eyes angrily.
"Ugh, sers Jasmin, he's not even that bad, especially those looks of his," she squealed. I rolled my eyes angrily and leaned against the chair looking at her as if she had two heads.
"It's seriously Amy, not sers," I corrected, she scowled and cursed at me. Turning my head slightly I noticed Jake Collen staring at me. Of course it's the school's top athlete and player. As much as I hate to admit it, he gots some looks, with soft blonde hair, blue eyes, structured face, tall figure and a nice build. Every girl in Scarlet High at least has a crush on him. (That what he thinks) I've known him since elementary school and every time I see him I wanna vomit. When we were kids he would do some nasty stuff, such as pick his nose and flick at someone, he wouldn't wash himself for two weeks and of course he would be a real creep and try to hit on the girls in our class. Which got even worse as he was my neighbor, he would try to go into my house, ask me out or make me jealous and every time he tried to do that he would earn a good punch to the side of the head.
I groaned as he moved to the seat right beside me. "Hey Jas, I haven't seen you for a while," he chatted. I ignored him. It has only been a day since he talked to me.
I opened my Stephen King book and began to read, completely ignoring him. "Hey! Hey! HEY!" he yelled, in a flash he pushed my book across the desk. I watched in horror as my beautiful book hit the floor in a nasty crash. My page forever lost in between read and unread pages.
Anger bubbled inside me like lava ready to explode into a monstrous explosion. I took in a few deep breaths and looked at him.
His eyes widened in shock.
"You got my attention, Jake. What is so important to interrupt me on my expensive Stephen King book?" I spoke darkly, my eyes cutting at him like a knife. He chuckled softly trying to get rid of the fear inside. He slowly smiled at me making my anger bubble even more.
"Well, I was just gonna say hey and ask how are doing." In a flash, my fist connected to his cheek, making a huge loud noise. He shot out of his chair and landed painfully on the ground creating a giant boom across the classroom. He yelped loudly as he grabbed his jaw. "What the hell Jas! I'm sooo gonna tell your sister!" he yelled making everyone in the classroom look at us. I smiled darkly and got up and leaned down beside him.
"Go ahead and tell her. But before you do, say goodbye to your worthless life first," I saw his eyes widen and he shook his head quickly. "N-Nevermind. I'd really like to live," he spoke quickly, I smiled and patted his shoulder. "Good choice,"
I grabbed his hand and pulled him up not breaking the deafening silence the class was giving us. "Look. Jasmin is fighting with Jake again," a familiar voice spoke behind me, I bit my lip to not yell at Amy who was of course talking crap about me right behind my back - literally. I could picture her talking to the annoying girl behind her, telling how i'm annoying and abusive only to make her feel better. I let go of Jake's hand and sat back down. Turning my head around and glare at shocked Amy who just got red-handed.
"You know... I do have ears," I spoke softly, my eyes staring deadly at hers. This is why I don't have a lot of friends, they just keep on talking crap about me which is false or none of their business, and this is what they get.
"I have no idea what you're talking about Jasmine," she spoke nervously, fear showing right through her eyes. I chuckled softly almost as if I was a mad man.
"Don't lie with me Am," I spoke softly. She gulped loudly and threw me a fake smile.
"I'm telling the truth! Right Becka!," she yelled, her body turning towards the blondie behind her. Becka looked at her and looked away. "This is between you two, don't put me in," she avoided. A loud bang interrupted us, making everyone whip their heads toward the front. Maybe after ten minutes I gave in and looked up on the front. My eyes widened as I saw a hoodied man, looking at everyone in confusion. At first I thought he was a school shooter, but once he took of his hoodie. My heart stopped. Hair that was styled messily on of his head, piercing hazel orbs, full lips, and a skinny build. If he had little bit more muscles this guy would be perfect as a model. Some girls jumped out of their seats, their palms on their mouths as they hid their squeals. I rolled my eyes and sank back into the seat my eyes looking at his; while his scanned the room looking at the fangirling girls and jealous boys.
His eyes stopped at mine.
Confusion hit my eyes as this weird feeling of daja vu hit me. Quickly looking away, I could see his eyes held emotion that I couldn't decipher, before we knew it Mrs. Mills, our grumpy homeroom teacher waltzed in. Startling both of us, he looked away quickly and make eye contact with the teacher. I held in a chuckle as she looked so surprised that her eyes were round like bowling balls. Quickly changing her expression, she started giving him a lovey-dovey face that made me sick inside.
"My, I didn't expect you to come so early, Mr. Danial!" She spoke happily, her raspy voice sounded like she just downed a helium balloon. He gave her a soft smile and nodded.
"Yes, my brother decided to drop me off a little bit early," he softly spoke, his soft voice sounding like a flute that was being played.
"I see. Well, I didn't really prepare for your seat. So how about you can sit next to Jasmine for today?" Mrs. Mills spoke sweetly, her eyes catching mine. Everyone in the classroom whipped their head towards me, their eyes widened with jealousy. "Jasmine raise your hand," She ordered. I bit my lip nervously, why did he have to sit right next to me? I raised my hand slowly, my face hiding behind a curtain of hair. He nodded and looked at me, his eyes looking over at me briefly. He slowly walked towards the empty seat right beside me and threw his book bag on the floor. He laid himself on the plastic chair gracefully, his face looking towards me.
"You know, you can stop raising your hand now," he spoke sarcastically. I awkwardly lowered my hand and glared at him, my eyes finding his hazel eyes that made me suddenly feel so relaxed and sleepy. He leaned forward and brushed my hair away from my face.
"It's been awhile," he whispered, his minty breath hitting me.
Huh?
Before I could ask why he said that, he leaned back against his chair and stared at Mrs. Mills who was to focused on yelling at Josh-our classrooms clown.
