In order to find personal meaning, one must delve into the exploration of their interests.
Personal meaning is self explanatory. It's how, when and if you find yourself; a unique individual amongst the masses. Likes, dislikes, perception, all coincide with you, yourself and you only.

There's no definitive answer to personal meaning. Some people never quite find themselves. Will they in another life, perhaps?

I despise YA (Young Adult) novels. They're all the same. Take a shy, quirky girl and a tall, dark and handsome boy with some petty drama (family/school, personal strife) mixed in, and you have a generic John Green book.
If it's not a romantic novel, it's a "me against the world" novel, which I have no intention of delving into, no matter how good the writer is.
I'll never read the Hunger Games/Game of Thrones novels. I read the first chapter of both of these and I had to force myself to read the second. They're so anti-climactic and predictable.
