The first thing I saw was darkness. I shifted my head and saw a single point of light at the lip of the cave I was apparently in. I tried to call out but only a soft whimper escaped. Something pressed against me and I was pulled into my mother's chest. Her heart beat was calming and my eyes slowly closed as I fell into a deep sleep.
