Day Two

let me tell you about rainbows
and how people know they have seven colors and how they only come out after the rain

I have a theory.

I think that somehow in the creative streak of the artist he decides to dab colors in between red orange yellow green blue indigo violet like specks on a petal--unseen but existent
We see colors but we see only the ones we were taught to see
Somehow rainbows come out during the outpour, not after. It's there, arranging itself for the moment when it can finally outshine the rain and when all the painful arranging and putting together would no longer matter because this spectre made of mist, shadow and chaos would have a new name: beauty
A glimpse of this glittering crown atop  melancholic rain and the world comes anew.

I have touched a rainbow once. (or maybe it was the other way around)
