Sonnet
Free me
I am standing here with no one with me
Under the dull dawn staring freely down
Giving me not what I need, my liberty
Living with what I do not want, your crown
It's all in me since the day I was born
I know you know that I so much need you
I can't do anything for I was thorn
I don't even know how but it just grew
It is not something I really possess
Because it is one of God's special gift
Doesn't have to follow any process
It doesn't have any due date to lift
I just want you to accept me, mother
Raise up the rainbow flag for my gender
