Chapter One: Promise's Are Nothing But A Joke.

Promise's are everywhere.

Promise's are special.

Promise's are like a small bond that you may never break.

Yet, they're always broken. Always faked.

A promise has lost its meaning.

Promise's are nothing but a joke.

"And that is why Skyrim is the best game there is."

I sighed. "Why are you on about this?"

"Because, Julian, you need to get it through your thick skull that no game can beat Skyrim."

"Can't you fantasize about your virtual reality elsewhere?"

"No, I have to fantasize about it with you."

Let me introduce myself. My name is Julian Willows, and I'm on christmas break. I'm a senior who practically teaches Computer Programming class. I have a deep hatred for puppets, and I just happen to play the piano.

Currently, I'm on the phone with my sister. Her name is Nicole Laurens. She's my half sister. A girl who's at least two inches taller than me, dyed red hair to the shoulders, casual formal attire, green eyes, freckles, slim, all in all, absolutely stunning.

One thing to remember about her, is her passion for video games. Especially Skyrim. She's borderline addicted.

Unfortunately, I don't get to see her much, I left our school to come to a smaller one. I had my reasons, but that's a different story for a different time.

Nicole, her personality summarized is hyped and understanding. Yet, she's a total mom. Loves kids. All of them, well, mostly all of them.

Getting on her bad side is a terrible feeling. Maybe I'm just saying this because I'm her brother, but I imagine it being horrible, i've never experienced this of course, I've never fought with her.

Depending on what you've done, she'll more than likely forgive you. Don't take her caring trait for granted though, if you're a backstabbing toxic piece of filth with a fake smile, she'll leave you in a heartbeat to lick your own wounds. It's scary how well she can see through people.

"Dude, I got to go scrub myself naked with water."

"Send pics. Kidding, call me, don't make me call first. I love you so so so so so much! Bye!"

"Ditto. Later nerd." I hung up after that, knowing she'd keep me for another ten minutes for saying 'ditto' instead of 'I love you too' like I usually do.

I set my phone on the bedside table and stretch. I hop out of the comfort of my bed and into my bathroom I go. As I walk in, the mirror reflects my figure.

Untamed brown hair that loved to get in my face, boring eyes. One blue, one gray. Like a stormy ocean. Cliché. Lanky frame. Glasses. Minor acne. Piercing in my right ear.
